Now, this girl's mum doesn't like barbies, becuase of the gender stereotypings and so on, so wouldn't buy her any. She might play with the dolls at her friend's house, but as a rule her mother never gave her one. However, one day, when the girl was 5 or 6 her mum saw this pony riding barbie, and as it was quite nice, (and only a fiver) she bought it for the girl. Who loved it to bits. And the little girl's aunt, thinking all rules were off, bought her a Sindy, a vet one.

A little while later, the girl went to her mother with these two dolls, telling her that Barbie and Sindy were partners now.
Oh, says the mother, Have they started a buisness together? But the little girl shakes her head and tells her no, not like that. When too ladies are together but can't get married[/b]
