Why is it that this is a dream site where you can blog your dreams, but no one replies to them? |

I ♥ DREAMVIEWS. I always have, and I always will. There is nothing else to it.
Who dreams? This is reality, dreaming isn't possile for those with the burden of Life |
|
Believe it or not, some people actually do respond to dream journals. We call them weird. |
|
The Emperor Wears No Clothes: The book that everyone needs to read."If the words "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" don't include the right to experiment with your own consciousness, then the Declaration of Independence isn't worth the hemp it was written on."- Terence McKenna
I think people only reply to other's dreams if they find something interesting in it. |
|
yeah, people reply to DJs only every so often. Like in mine I only have one real response, the other I directed there from another thread where a dream was relevant to the discussion. The link is in my sig if you want comment... |
|
I think there are a few people staking out my dream journal, and I'm watching a few others, too. |
|
And personally I use all the lounges threads for biding time until a real thread I'm subbed in is responded to. |
|
I read dream journals when I have the time, and if I see something I find interesting enough to merit more than a three word reply, I do so. |
|
I read some also but most are not interesting. A lot appear to be redundant or things that I've already seen before.. so yeah. |

Maybe this should be a part of the Dream Guides duties? Some do it, most don't. Perhaps it should be something set in stone where they read and comment on users DJ's. |

Things are not as they seem
I prefer to read and not post. Sometimes it's rather intrusive to do so, or at least feels it. |

You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.
Chelsea, if you are interested in a dreaming forum that is mainly about Dream Journals, people writing in them, others reading them and commenting on a regular basis...then I highly suggest checking out Mortal Mist (which is run by former admins/staff of DV). I have a dream journal here but haven't updated it in ages. But I try to keep my Dream Journal over there up to date. Plus it's a smaller forum, so if you're new I'm sure you'll get lots of comments on your dream journal. They are much more about dreaming there. A lot of people are more into off-topic shenanigans here it seems. |

If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

This site is perfection. You read about lucid dreaming and then once you're done, like someone else said, you chill. There's only so much on the topic of lucid dreaming that can be discussed before it becomes very stale. And in case you haven't noticed, dream journals are very widely-read. |

I only registered today, and yet I've looked at a couple of dream journals. I find some of them a little interesting, but others not. It also feels like, if I post in them, that I'm kind of crossing a private line. |
