about dreams. It's obviously the same for the vast majority of everybody here. They are so much fun and pleasurable and every other positive adjective you can think of. So, with that in mind, I was wondering if we could compile here subjects of the same category, subjects that are very interesting but unfortunately uncommon, so we can all enjoy, sooner, the small pleasures of life. It could be anything really, as long as you found it interesting or compelling in any way. Here's mine: Spoiler for it's illegal. It's just an expression. You can take any words coupled together and twist their meaning. And using a handicap of the most important sense (in the society we live in) is just ruthless. Well I have never been great on being clear (and English is my third language) so I'll re-edit my first post to try to make it clearer.

Well, it seems like it's going that way but it's far from what I wanted and what I expected. It's just a "throw a random subject you find interesting to share with everyone and that's it" kind of thread.

I just listened to an interesting lecture and I feel I simply have to add this, since its pretty intriguing. They say that compared to taste or sight, hearing is our most important sense, being that it evolved from touch. It is rather surprising, considering we supposedly acquire over 80% of information visually. But the truth is that when you lose sight, you can carry on making brilliant music etc. When you lose hearing, when you lose touch with human voice and all the fine nuances in speech, your intellectual abilities slowly start to deteriorate, unless you do something to compensate immediately. Another example to support this line of thought has to do with people who experience hallucinations in their waking life. Visual hallucinations are rather common, auditory ones, however, indicate a more serious damage to the brain. In other words: its not uncommon for mentally unstable (or rather, extremely sensitive) people to see things, but when they start hearing things, they are in deep water. That's what I heard, anyway. By no means am I trying to advocate any of this. Anyways, is TPB as reliable as mininova? I mean, I never got scamed or downloaded fake or wrong or corrupt files at mininova. Is it the same at TPB?
