Thread: Sick!

So right now, I'm sick. I really doubt that it is Swine. I have been sick for almost two weeks. Two weekends ago, on Sunday, I got a sore throat, and I thought "Oh shit." So anyways, what have been some of the worst times when you have been sick?

Mine was about 5 or 6 years ago. I woke up at about 12am, and I vomited all over my bed. I was sleeping on a bunk bed at the time, and the bed wasn't very big. So I was blowing chunks all over my bed, and I got up, and just looked at it.
I didn't want to wake my parents up, for fear that they would be mad at me. So I just tried to sleep in the part that wasn't all vomitee.

I decided I had to wake up my parents, and they started doing their job. They took me into their room and put some blankets on the floor for me. As soon as I laid down, I started to vomit again. I did my best to keep it in my mouth, but some slipped out. I ran to their bathroom and emptied my mouth in the toilet.

Ugh! What's your worst?

Vomiting is the absolute worst, and I avoid doing so at all costs. By sheer will power, it seems, I've been able to prevent myself from vomiting for like...what, seven years now? But that comes at a terrible price; having to live with the agonizing stomach cramps that come as a result of needing to puke. Many people tell me "Just let it all out, you'll feel much better", but I'm so emetophobic, I'd rather just live with the pain.

So I guess the worst time ever was when my stomach was hurting so bad, I was having dreams about being in fights where my opponent kept trying to hit me in the gut. The terrible cold chills didn't help much, either.

A long time ago, like third grade, I think I had a fever up to one o four. I haven't really been that sick in a long time, though I think I have allergies, so I have had a slight "cold" since like september now.
