Well, I'm already here. I can only leave it to the others to work out a date, when it would be most convenient for everyone to come.

Sorry nN (and others who've asked about a date). We've been looking at lodging costs, other expenses, etc. up until now and feel pretty good about working out something soon, so we'll get back with you all on a set date within the coming weeks.

Edit: Though, if you all would like to say what dates in July would be best for you all to attend, feel free to do that and we can work our lodging date around that once a general agreed date (amongst you all) has been reached.

I'd go, but I suspect only two people in my city use DV, Felicity and I.
I ain't buying no plane ticket. Everyone would probably be taller than me anyway.

Alright! an Update!!

The official dates are July 9 - 11
(Getting there early Friday morning, staying Saturday, leaving out Sunday afternoon)

Hotel - Josh and I (you're welcome to room with us to cut down on the pricing) will either be staying at Perry's Ocean Edge Resort, the Daytona Beach Oceanside Inn, or Plaza Resort & Spa. All of them are located in Daytona.

Activities - We'll have a meet and greet Friday around noon in the lobby of one of the hotels we'll (as in one of us going) will be staying at. Afterward, we'll hit a few theme parks. Epcot, and Islands of Adventure are two theme parks we'll be going to. One on Friday, one on Saturday. Both theme parks are located in Orlando.

There will also be para-sailing, jett-skiing, shopping and (possibly) canoeing spread out among these days (some being done on Sunday morning - afternoon before departure).

Bring cameras, lots of film (or memory cards) because this is sure to be an event you won't soon be forgetting!!!

Well, I can be counted officially out, then. That's the one weekend in July I'm booked (unlikely as it would be for the stars to align for a trip to Florida any other weekend this July, granted).

I want to go sooooo bad!!! But since I'm paying for my school and will be taking summer classes I just don't think I'll have the money for it!! I could even come because it's on a weekend!! I checked plane tickets for those dates, they were about $300. So for me it's just money, if I can come up with the money...I will be there!! And I'd want to room with you guys. If you don't mind rooming with a girl.

We've got a few months still. Why not start a sort of pot to throw in extra money to help out anyone that may not be able to afford the trip? I doubt I'll be able to contribute much myself, as I'll be saving up for college in the fall and the move later in July, but I'll throw in anything I can. Or we could just help out who we see needs help, individually.

I don't really like the idea of taking money from anyone...but I really need to come to this. I'm going to try and rack my brain for how I can come up with some quick cash in the next few months. I'm usually good at this sort of thing, but have let it go recently due to being completely focused on school. If I can't then I'll probably have to take a loan for summer quarter...but hey...it might pay for the trip heh.

Also, that shit looks totally awesome. Para sailing, I've always wanted to try that. And Epcot is real good. And all that other stuff sounds great.

Bummer. I think I'm going to be naked on the beaches of southern France that weekend. I'll have to double check my calendar, but I'm about 70% sure.

Anyone want to move the location to Monaco? ...didn't think so.
