I'm joining the Marines.

About a year a ago I wanted to be a Marine but decided not to go. Now My life's been down the shitter I guess, and I feel like the Marines would be a good way to go to get it all back up again. I'm currently in college right now so after I finish my first semester which is in 2 months I'll be taking the ASVAB and go to Camp Pendleton for my training. So wish me luck guys lol

Not really sure which MoS I'm going to choose... I think I'm going to sign up for 4 years and be a rifle man or field artillery for 2 and a computer security specialists for the other 2

Their is but it's actually really tough... I read about some of the training where you have to sit for like 3 days straight or some shit like that

Marine snipers only come in one brand, and those are "Hard-Mode". Marine
snipers are the real deal buddy. The army has snipers like them, too, and
someone will need to fill me in on whether or not those particular snipers count
as special ops. The army has three kinds total, the other two being sub-par.
Marines, only one. I wish I would have remembered more from what my past
friend had told me about their training (went into the army as a combat
engineer, etc).

Don't know about Marine snipers, but usually being sniper sucks #"#¤. You lay low 16 hours straight waiting for perfect shot or information to report. It isn't that nice when it is -30 celcious out there and your balls are frozen in the snow.

Anyway, I don't really know about American army, how do you train or otherwise. Thing I know that anywhere I ask, we have bested you anytime on shooting accuracy ^^ and we go on conscription army

I am a military police sub-officer myself.

Or you could just play Call of Duty and stay in college. I respect your decision, but there are enough people getting shot in the face for our country right now.

True enough. Designated marksman is where it's at.
