i basically had everything you had, on xmas eve. my mom is on a plane now so my family had our dinner a day early.
well for breakfast I made these AWESOME Strawberry-lime crepes. they didn't come out exactly picture perfect but it's the first time I've tried making them...anyway they tasted great
I saw the recipe in a holiday cook book I was flipping through awhile back and I wanted to make them the past couple christmases but never did until now. I like cooking, especially making breakfasts and desserts, and making them all pretty. YAY
I didn't really eat much one 'Eve because I don't really fancy orderve-y kinda foods. However, to par with tradition I ate some pepperjack cheeses and a small steak. pretty simple..
December 25th at my aunts/uncles house I ate a bunch of barbecued little weiner thingys, cheeses, bread, and chocolate fondu things.. With a bit of sparkling, non-alcoholic, pear juice to accompany the royal feast.
For breakfast.
1. Bacon
2. Panckaes
For dinner.
1. Sushi made by yours truly.
A. California Roll
B. Philly Roll
C. Shrimp Rice Ball
We had Mr. Turk for christmas. We stuck him in the tanning salon and he went all nice and crispy, so we took Mr. Turk out. Then we kinda ate him, but he was okay with that. He said there were lots more Mr. Turks in the shop. Yeah.
food. (I'm leaving so that's it for now)
btw, I hate green olives and I reminded myself a couple of days ago why I do.

OMG it has been a nonstop GORGE fest for the past week. So many dinner parties...but for Christmas we had all Lebanese food (courtesy of mumsy)...grape leaves, hummus, kebabs, meat pies, spinach pies, cheesball, tempanade, kibi, baba, kefta, spinach crepes, and a whole bunch of other Arabic food I can't spell or pronounce. HA.
Haha. This Christmas I ate weird shit... Ostrich carpaccio, springbok antilope steak, stuff like that. heh.
i ate a grip of empanadas, some lechon. argentinian food basically.
