Does weed cause hallucinations or trips? Call me stupid, but I have this impression that weed is one of the safest drugs to use that can still give you a good trip/life-changing experience.

You can have a great time with pot, and you might get very minor closed eye visuals similar to a WinAmp visualization... but other than that...

I agree, I've never hallucinated on pot. I couldn't fathom how much I'd have to smoke to start seeing things. That's why I like acid if I want things to be trippy.

well, closed eyes, like I said. It's not very clear, likse somewhere between a visualization and HI, it looks pretty damn cool though. Maybe I'm just prone to it. Nothing with eyes open, that would require a ton of weed in a very short period of time.

Oh yeah that's what I mean by minor. I get CEV a good bit.

Ok, misinterpretation of terms. That's only the average smoking for me, though. Last night I smoked quite a bit after not having any for 2 weeks and they were fairly vivid. It was pretty cool.

Is LSD still even on the map? It is practically nonexistent in Mississippi now even though it was extremely popular here in the early 90's. Ecstasy took its place. Where is LSD still in style?

I can find it everywhere here in the Lower Mainland.

Supposedly my friend packed two bowls of some dank kush and he saw colors, sort of like synesthesia.

I don't think he's a lightweight at all haha. That's what he told me, I've never experienced this personally. More or less changes the way I see things, doesn't make me hallucinate.

The appearance of the light through the vertical blinds from my friend's balcony had a crystalline quality very much like the kind of hyper-detailed, slow-mo-vision one can have on LSD. Come to think of it, I've had another experience with a car load of very experienced smokers trying a particularly intense BC varietal where we all lost the power of speech / gained telepathy and were essentially tripping for 20 minutes. Neither of these occasions involved any other substances.

Set and setting certainly come into play, but when you get into the stuff raised with loving care by people who know what they're doing, sometimes you get an outlier that just blows your lid off.
