What do you all think of this?

Initially, I don't like the assignment of labels like "weird" and "abnormal" to the likes of those who like to attend functions like raves and Burning Man -like events. The thought of a forced "separation" from such functions and the rest of society leaves a bad taste in my mouth, as if they are trying to create (or exacerbate) the paradigm that people who like to 'let it all hang out' are freaks or abnormal, and should be kept away from society.

On the other hand, I do see it as a governmental desensitization of said functions. It at least shows that they assess the possible socio-psychological benefits of such 'wild parties', and don't completely demonize them, as has seemed to be the trend of the past.

I dunno. Right now, I haven't formed much of an opinion, but it's definitely one of the most WTF-worthy proposals I've heard in a while.
