what is your favourate colour, which do you respond to most?

It seems that my favourate colour is purple, i dont have an written explanation WHY, but it just seems to respond to me more than any other colour!

what do you say, if you had to define your fav colour?

We all respond to colours in dreams so i wouldnt consider this out of topic

there's something about complete absense of colour, or complete overload of it that carries lots of meaning for me.

I wanted to put more exotic colors on the poll but then once the doors are open its hard to close them, just imagine the number of colours there could be (lol) so i thought of the rainbow song (lol). I also excluded black and white because I don’t consider them colours.

its an interesting concept how our minds respond to different colours and are unable to interpret (most of the time) why these colours have more importance to us, I guess the true meaning is lost in the translation. I have realized lately that many people dream in both black and white and colour, I guess if we focus on a colour during our waking life, it will cross over into our dreams, image surfing a purple sea with a red sky and yellow fish (lol) without being on acid or in willy wonkas chocolate factory.

Btw brown eyes are fascinating and absorbingly beautiful, my girlfriend had brown eyes, they were the most interesting things in the world (lol) like little worlds in themselves. I love that song “brown eyed girl” by van Morrison, we should start a post, what colour is you favorite eye colour (lol).

I switch between red and blue occasionally. Right now my favorite is blue (a vivid, energetic blue) after it being red for a few years.

blue is cool, I don't like red mainly for the fact i'm red-weak, so colors like purple, look blue... you get the picture.

Sounds like hes partly color blind. I was just looking and they say about 10% of males are color blind or have bad color vision. I didn't know it was so much. Everyone probably knows someone who is but doesn't seem most people ever talk about that.

My favorite normal color is black, but it's followed very closely by black and silver. Those colors also complement each other, so yah.

umm.. black is the absence of all color.. and yeah, i like black too, but i don't cosider it a color exactly.

CT, to explain... i am partially red colorblind, i see red, but i have much less red-detecting cones in my eyes then an average person.. so that shifts hues and certain colors containing red (like purple) appear blue. Red-weakness is kinda rare, green-weakness and red-blindness are the most common kinds of colorblindness.

Monochromatics (ones who can only see shades of grey.. or a little yellow-blue variation) are VERY rare.

Green's probably my second favourite.
