Photos from the production of "Les Miserables" I was in.
Okay guys, I promised I would upload some pictures from the production of Les Mis that I was in. Here they are!
Prologue
From the first scene, a group of inmates are working out in the yard. I'm dead center, facing downwards with the long hair.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
At the End of the Day
A group of workers congregate outside their place of employment, basically a sweatshop, to sing about their gripes for being poor. I'm the second from the right.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
The Cart Crash
The mayor of the town lends a hand in helping a trapped civilian, who has been run over by a stray cart. I'm the one under the cart, who got run over.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
Master of the House
The beginning of a scene in which we are introduced to the inkeeper and his wife. Basically a rowdy drunk scene. Here picture is me, sitting in the chair, being the first customer to come into the inn for the night.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
The Beggars
This is the tenth scene, in which the beggars and the poor meet on the streets to beg for food. They are later joined by the leader of the revolution "Enjorlas", asking some of them to join the Paris Uprising.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
The ABC Cafe
The thirteenth scene, the group of students planning to rise against the French Army meet at their favorite Cafe. Here pictured is the leader of the revolution, Enjorlas, chanting "Red, the blood of angry men!". I'm the third from the left.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
Later in the scene, the little boy "Gavroche" comes into the cafe to let the students know that their proverbial leader and role model, General Lamarque, is dead. Gavroche likes to follow around the students, and looks up to all of them. Pictured here, he seems a bit sad for being the bearer of bad news.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
One Day More (End of Act 1)
Several things going on here. Mainly, this is the turning point of the show, where the students decide to start their revolution, and several different sub-plots take a turn.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
Javert at the Barricade
The barricade against the French Army has been built, and the students gather around it, waiting for an attack. Pictured here, an officer of the French Army (played by me) addresses the students at the barricade.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
Later, Javert (a police inspector) comes back to the barricade and gives false information to the students. Javert is then revealed to be a spy, thanks to little Gavroche. Pictured here, telling the students that Javert is a spy.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
A Little Fall of Rain
After Javert is taken away by the students, Eponine, a girl who is secretly love with Marius (a student and a main character), returns to the barricade after taking a letter to Marius' lover. Marius then discovers she is fatally shot, and briefly holds her before she dies in his arms.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
Bring Him Home
Several scenes later, after fighting off the French Army for the first time, the students sleep while Jean Valjean sings a ballad asking a higher power to save Marius, as he knows that Marius is in love with his daughter, Cosette.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
Regarding the song, many of you probably know it, but don't know that it's from this musical. You've probably seen this video
(skip to 2:09 for the actual singing)
Yep, it's that song. For comparison's sake, here's a video of the actual Jean Valjean from Broadway singing it.
The Second Attack
After Jean Valjean sings, Enjorlas wakes up the students and prepares them for a second attack. This is where my character realizes they are running low and ammo, and a commotion starts about who should retrieve it. It's then when little Gavroche sneaks over the barricade and jumps into the street, where bags of ammunition are lying from dead bodies and the like. Pictured here, Gavroche has jumped down and the students are trying to coax him back up.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
Gavroche retrieves the ammo, and begins climbing back up the barricade, only the be shot in the arm. He continues climbing and gets shot in the arm. Pictured here, Grantaire (a student) grabs Gavroche, but is too late, as Gavroche is shot in the head a second later.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
Grantaire pulls the body over the barricade and climbs down. Enjorlas is visibly disturbed, as Gavroche is now the second innocent person to be killed at the barricade.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
The Final Attack
After Gavroche dies, the army officer returns (yeah, I played both sides. Quick changes are a bitch.) to address the students at the barricade. He basically tells them they're all going to die. The students start their last battle.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
Enjorlas climbs to the top of the barricade and waves the flag of revolution. He is the first of the students to die at the barricade. Slowly, one by one, the students get picked off. Pictured here, several students have already been hit. I'm dead center, with my hand to my throat, right before I die.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
Many of the students are dead, and the remaining ones are dying from their wounds. I just like how the smoke looks in this picture.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
Grantaire snaps out of his drunken daze, and rushes to the top of the barricade, where he waves the flag for one last time.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
Grantaire is then shot to death, and falls ontop of Enjorlas. All the students have been killed.
Spoiler for Spoiler for big picture:
The End
Obviously there's a lot more after the Final Attack, about 5 more scenes. But it's stuff you can look up on your own.

Hope you guys liked em! When I get the DVD, I'll throw the best scenes up.
