After much prognostication and consultation, the idea of a DV Disney Classic Movie Night was brought up. Mostly it was Shift and I doing said prognosticating and consulting. |

Woooo. |
Well, we can definitely keep track of when good times are for people, and adjust it to when the most people can participate! |

Good idea but why those ones?? Haven't you lot ever seen the real Walt Disney movies - Peter Pan, Dumbo, Lady and the Tramp and so on...? |
This is a wonderful idea! |

I personally can't do Friday nights, but I agree that Saturday nights are generally better. I wish I had high-speed, or more Walt Disney movies on hand. Should have bought The Fox and the Hound when I saw it on Friday. I really wish I had all the ones paragon mentioned, I will have to buy them the first chance I get. |
Oooh oooh oooh The Fox and the Hound is a great one - and the last one that the legendary animators Ollie Johnson and Frank Thomas worked on. Wish I could join you ladies and gents but I'm a busy man. Have fun, kids. |
I'm almost a little embarrassed to say I can recite those movies by heart (thanks to a certain young family member with Down Syndrome with an incredible capacity for replays). |
I vote Beauty and the Beast! |
Out of the ones in the OP, I'm thinking either The Lion King or Pocahontas. |
I vote Pocahontas(saw Lion King in school last week). |
Yay! Awesome idea! I'm in. |
The Lion King ! |
I doubt that this would particularly matter given the timing (2AM GMT) but one thing to bear in mind is that PAL users will have their DVD play 4% faster. Which equates to a several minute difference near the end of the film... |
Hm. Too short of notice for me. |

Of course we are going to watch The Lion King. It is not even up for debate. The lion King is and always will be the best classic disney movie ever, and therefore has the right to the honor of first DV chat movie showing. |
I think Lion King. Rai Saix makes a freaking excellent point: The Lion King must be First! |
oh my god, this idea makes me feel so nostalgic (even though I've never done this before) |
