Ok...we all experience things that just don't seem logical. It could be because we are missing the point, or because the answer we suspect to be most logical is either ignored by (or shrouded from) popular awareness. No matter what, there is always some shit that just doesn't make sense. So let us know what really makes you stop, scratch your head, and go "WTF??" Who knows...maybe someone else reading your post knows the answers which you seek. Maybe not. Either way; should be good times. Just to start off: (And mostly for an example. I already realize the answer to this one, but it just hit me last night while I was watching t.v. and it's still just something that makes me go "that's so obviously ass-backwards is not even funny...") Why is it that every commercial fed to the masses that has to do with marijuana (a relatively harmless drug) is written with the purpose of making all weed smokers look like idiotic, lethargic, useless and dangerous members of society...and then you see every single alcoholic drink commercial glorifying drinking, when alcohol is easily a much more dangerous substance? Ugh...makes me sick. Anyway...GO!

Yeah. Another commercial thing. They always try to create false needs. Here was this one RLS kick, with the same comercial for at least a week. RLS is rarer than schizophrenia... Also, I think commercials may play a role in the "increase" of clinical depression within the last decade.

As someone that works in sales, I can only honestly state that a majority of the salesmen you will ever meet in your lifetime are trying to fuck you over. Salesmen thrive on the concept of "gray area." It is basically an arbitrary concept that means "I can lie to you up until the point where I, personally, feel like I'm telling you a bald-faced lie (a lie which many don't mind crossing). My objective is actually to confuse you to the point of compliance." All I can say is that salesmen should expect this kind of reaction, as many to most salesmen are scumbags that will tell you what you what you want to hear, because they are in a line of business where (in many cases) every dollar in their pocket is based upon getting you to buy something, whether you actually want it or not. But yeah...being one of the salesmen (in this case, telemarketers) that isn't down with blatantly lying for a living to make a buck, that paranoid stigma of the consumer makes my job that much harder.

If any of you have played it... In Castle Risk, when you lie down more than one reinforcement card in one turn, do you get two sets of reinforcements, or do the cards laid down simply stack? Ex. 2 reinforcement cards are already on the board. 1st card=1 army. 2nd card=2 armies plus the value of the preceding cards. So basically 2 armies plus one. 3 Armies My sister lays down 2 reinforcement cards. Does she get simply 4+3+2+1 OR does she get (3+2+1) + (4+3+2+1) for both of the reinforcement cards? When I brought this up, my three other family members who I was playing Castle Risk with swore up and down she only received 4+3+2+1 armies, but seeing as one of them was drunk, one of them was 8 years old and the last one would bend the rules of board games to win, I wasn't happy with their line of reasoning. Luckily, in the end it didn't matter as I stabbed my brother and sister in the backs after they stabbed my father in the back, so it was all good. Don't know if anyone will know what I'm talking about, but meh.

I think the main chick they have doing them has got a whole funny/cute/ditzy thing going for her, which usually makes me smile. But, in keeping with the same point: GEICO commercials. I mean seriously. WTF? You mean to tell me that someone is paid to write that shit? They went from completely over-killing the cavemen, to a stack of money with eyes... I can't believe that such a huge corporation would even air half of the crap they put on their commercials.
