National Guard sending out free movie tickets?

Has anybody got a promotional offer from the Army National Guard, offering two free movie tickets with no strings attached (so far as I can see) besides watching a video of Three Doors Down's song, Citizen Soldier? I just got it in the mail today, and I'm, redeeming it online as I type. They say the tickets should be coming in the mail within the week. I figure, what the heck, if the government wants to give me free stuff, more power to 'em!

I saw that music video during a preview when i was watching Hitman. It's a pretty cool song, the music video's not bad either. Totally worth it as long as you don't sign or agree to anything. They're playing on the emotional aspects of the video -- just watch for the little kid. You'll see what i mean. You'll be like DAMN i want to be like that!

Yeah, I've seen the video a couple times; it's sure better than the previous dull-as-heck National Guard promotional video. I actually sort of like 3 Doors Down, so that helps. Yup, I got one too. Ive been getting alot of offers for the National Guard to help me with college and things like that lately.

Well, it never would load, so I still need to call and try to get them that way, or get out to a coffee shop. And yeah, Jeff, like b12 said, they're not the least bit subtle about it. Xaqaria, very funny. For your information, I do not own a phonograph.

I went to the website, when I put my info and click submit the page did not load. Once again went to the homepage and the page is not loading. If they're giving free tickets they must be really desperate to get new people, specially young people. I'm not joining the army at all, unless I'm really crazy. EDIT: Now the movie wont even play. Did yours play? That's what happened to me, I figured it was just my internet. It got to the Flash page for the video, and then nothing happened except for the Citizen/Soldier logo coming up. No video. Heck, they really are desperate. They've been sending way too many of the National Guard overseas, not leaving enough manpower in the States.

I got my tickets for free but you can only use them at non AMC theaters so that can be a pain in the neck. But besides that I only had 2 recruiters call me and they leave me alone cause i tell them i am too young.

I called a number, to get a free watch, but al I got was a gay boonie hat, and 2 recurters knocked on my door! I told my mom to tell them I wasent home lmfao

Actually yeah I got the movie tickets too. When the recruiter called I told him that if I was interested in joining the army I would call him. First time I ever heard a recruiter stumble for what to say Perhaps it is because I sound much older than your average 18 year old...
