Anyone have some that don't include drinking, drugs, or sex? Be at least somewhat serious. I've got so much crap to do it's not funny and I sometimes just find myself wanting to cry or scream....Maybe I should cut back on work hours... |

I'd write down everything I have to do with a couple of words describing each. Usually it turns out that there isn't much after all. Makes you feel better. |

This is a great stress exercise I use: |

Oohhumm
This seems stupid, but this little stress reliever usually helps me out. All you do in this pointless game is throw lightning bolts at little stick people, which is very satisfying (especially when they're acting dumb and jumping up and down or doing backflips). Found it while searching for "stress reliever" on google. |

Well suicide works. Just kidding. Meditation is a good way to help though. |

yeah there is blaring music, meditation, writing, and -edited-... just a few of my stress relivers |
|
Step 1: Take about 4 muscle relaxers and some pain killers maybe. |

Just do something relaxing. Instead of meditation I do WILDs, which is basicly the same for me because I suck at WILDs. Sit around surfing the web for a few hours. Anything that is fun works, just relax. |

Aikido, a martial art I take. |

Grand Theft Auto. An hour or so of blowing stuff up will relief any and all stress. |
|
Sometimes meditation isn't the key, you could sort of call it the equivelant of trying to train a muscle with a weight that is too heavy, which sorta means it's not always the best method even though it may seem. But it is good. |

EXERCISE!!! |

yes, completely agree Seeker, it is mathematical proof |

Found this on google a while ago.... the program titled "stress reducer" on here is surprisingly fun. When you start it, it freezes whatever is currently on your computer screen, and then you can smash the crap out of it with a variety of weapons! |

Don't call me a pyscho (I always do this anyway...but, *sighs*), but you if you have a fairly good imagination, you can act out whatever little skits/plots you want to. Try it, it's really mind boggling if you're a very social person, but if you're somewhere in the middle, or not too social, it might not feel too weird... |

I thank whoever raised this topic from it's grave, even if it was only about 2 feet under... |

I agree with seeker, exercise is great stress relief. Work out your anger in the exercise, just don't go so hard you hurt yourself. For me, I find a nice 6 mile ride on my bike at a good clip works wonders. Sometimes, its the only thing keeping me sane. Cold air also seems to have a calming effect. |

listen to loud music, scream and jumps around to it, then punch some pillows or beanbags and such. |
