That job, as the document describes, is to make plans for "National Essential Functions" of all federal, state, local, territorial, and tribal governments, as well as private sector organizations to continue functioning under the president's directives in the event of a national emergency. That means all federal state local and even tribal governments under the control of ONE MAN, King George, and to top it off, he will control the private sector also with this state of emergency... is it me, or does this scare anyone else to death? so say john mccain loses, the republicans lose the white house, I have a terrible feeling this emergency power will be used.

Normally I'd chalk this up to paranoia, but if anyone would attempt this sort of monkey-business, it would be Bush/Cheney. So yes, I'm a little scared. By the way, this article was from last year. oh yea I know that, I'm just putting it out there for people who didn't know, cause its FUCKING SCARY, to me atleast. the scariest part about this is, that the next president has this power also. so if bush doesn't, mccain would, or who knows maybe the dems would. but, if anyone hears the words state of emergency, pack your bags, and lets all gtfo of america cause I don't want to be trapped here under a dictatorship.

We The People lost almost 100 years ago when the rockefellers, warburgs, and morgans passed the federal reserve act of 1913 during christmas break in congress, when most members of congress are on vacation. that was the beginning of what we see today, super-inflation, weak economy, people being forclosed, veterans denied health care, senior citizens retirement cash dissapearing, social security money vanishing....... the list goes on... As a wise man once said: WE'RE FUCKED.
