Ok, so the task for this week was;

Task

Recreate an existing piece, but in a different style. The obvious route for this is to get the chord structure to the piece of music and then change them to fit another style whilst still retaining the original melody.
Please bare in mind that this was not completely strict and was fairly flexible and as a result produced some damn good entries. Here they are below.

As far as style, I originally had one in mind - then by accident I discovered another type of sound that thought about doing. I couldn't choose between which I liked better, so I came up with a third piece that sort of combines both.

I chose to slow the song down and modify the chords while trying tt stick to the general direction of the original melody. I also cut it down from it's original version to keep it short and to the point as possible.
I apologize for the singing, it would pretty much be just rhythm without it.

I thought some of you might want to see how long it takes you to figure out what it is so I won't give away the title. Tornado Joe's DV Guitar wars submission.

Here's the link to the original piece.

NOW GET VOTING, OTHERWISE THERE WILL BE MANY WEEPING PUPPY'S!!!
