As I said before, it's fine to have opinions but one should be careful if they blanket statement others, is all.

I don't expect him to be receptive to it, but it was worth a shot.

I think sol was trying to point out that by saying "earrings are nothing but an excuse for mutilation" or whatever it was the previous person said, was in it of itself demeaning people who get piercings. Like everyone who gets a piercing is doing it to mutilate themselves...Or they are just too stupid to understand that they are hurting themselves.

The holes are so tiny you can't even see them...unless you get a gage that is really big X.X

What would you say to my brother who has his penis pierced? He was just doing it because he wanted to cut his penis? lol as if.

well in my opinion piercing is not for guys. girls pierce there ears not guys. Is this a new fashion tread or something?? i can see why gay guys pierce there ears it makes them look like a women but a straight guy? i dont mean to insult guys that get there ears pierce but come on, ear piercing!? why do you pierce your ears anyway?

my best friend has a stud in his left ear. i can tell you for certain he is not gay. he is actually in love with my little sister. so, whatever you want. i have heard it both ways. either way can mean you are gay. or not. so whatever you want.

i think a tongue stud on a guy marks him as a guy with a tongue stud. lol. i have met alot of guys who are punks, goth, or just a guy with a tongue stud. so i can't say either way. lol.

when you think of earing doesnt it shift toward girl? when you think of boxer's doesnt it shift toward guys? alot of gay people have similar characteristics that point them out as gay, of course not all of them maybe not even the majority but things like how they talk, act, dress can give the impression that they're gay.

I'm a guy, and I have 3 ear piercings. All three are on my left ear (lobe/lobe/cartilage). I took all of them out about two months ago just because I got sort of tired of them (hard to sleep on that one side is another problem). I only had 2 in at a time when I wore em anyway.

Many friends have their ears pierced as well, and none of them are gay. Around here, I very rarely hear people associating an earing on a guy with him being gay.

Maybe its cause I live in Toronto...more open-minded? or.. more crazy things to worry about?

I think spartiate doesn't realize that most guys who have piercings have studs in them, not earings. But some guys do have earings in them, those are neat also.

Meanwhile I thought it was the norm to believe that one piercing, and only one, on your right ear, meant you were gay...
