Thread: Mitt Romney!! Who The Hell Does He Think He His!!

Ok i am seriously pissed! Im in the UK and i am listening to his backing down speech, yeah that's right Romney you are backing down, why are you talking like your the damn President of the USA or something.

Ok so he has done the following in his speech:

1) He has directly insulting Europe. He stated " Europe is facing a demographic disaster because of like of believe in the creator. They have a low sense of human morality and the sanctity of life and marriage among other things"

Does he want an attack! He has just insulted Americans greatest ally.

2) He then becomes a hypocritical bastard by saying. " China hs become miraculously prosperous in the last 100 years because of their religious and political changes". China became Communist! and Atheistic! he makes no damn sense!

3) He then goes on to say China will overtake American in the next few years, and they have already well over taken the whole of Europe, which is debatable. He goes to suggest China is planning to attack America, as well as Asia. Because of this 4% of Americas GPD should be put into building the biggest and greatest Army in the world.

This guy is planning world domination! I really hope the other presidential candidates are not like him! He has completely soured me against the Republican party. I really hope Barrack Obama wins, i like the guy and he doesn't go off on any religious and patriotic rants like some kind of paranoid schizophrenic. In fact Romney's speech reminded me of Hitler speeches which we are studying right now..

He says " We should not cover in the face of evil extremism".... WHAT IS HE SAYING! He should damn well look in the mirror, lets sum him up " America and Christianity should wipe up everything else". Though he is a Mormon... maybe he is mentally retarded, John Smith lost his golden plates that an angel gave him, not bright. Mitt Romney, hella not brighter..


Sorry for the rant, but i got pissed when he started by insulting my country, called it a disaster and a failure, then he just got me more angry. I;m glad he's standing down. If he didn't i hope he's have faced powerful Asian and European opposition, if we doesn't like us, maybe he doesn't want our troops in Iraq eh?

And I'm not sure where you heard that he's "liberal." He's quite the opposite, and would say so himself.

Well Psychology student he is a Mormon, maybe they are generally more strict and can not co-exist with any other groups apart from Communism(it;s the reason for China technological push, he seemed to compliment them in that way of doing things, industry and all) and Atheism if it makes big bucks in countries America can trade with them claim are terrorists and take over their country. I'd like to see Chinas response, they do have the biggest army and to be honest they are just as big as a threat then America. Not sure if China still has conscription, but they army size and technological abilities are huge.

Yet another reason why Ron Paul is the only person fit to lead the nation.

Well the Communism bit was a just a joke about how Mitt Romney seemed to praise Chinas rapid rise of technological successes and general productivity in the last 100, for around half that time China has been communist, that is one big reason for their technological and industrial push.

But for the part of the sentence. I have heard Mormons are generally more fixed with their believes. What i mean is that the majority of Christians will accept a homosexual as a friend for example, or will befriend a Muslim even though their religions can be seen to suggest hostility between each other( only one being right).

We actually have a Mormon student in our six-form. He seems to feel very strongly against such issues as homosexuality and has no room for compromise or much in the way of understand, basically God says their disgusting, case closed. I

Well, you've got it wrong. I'm Mormon and have friends of other faiths, and gay friends, even though I'm strongly against homosexuality. We are firmly planted in our beliefs but that doesn't mean that isolate ourselves from everyone who feels differently.

Anyway, I'm happy to see Romney leave the race.

Careful with that - Mitt just simply displayed how one could conceal their true colors beneath their plastic fronts. You think Barrack isn't hidding anything? Wouldn't suprize me if he were elected that the middle-east would rejoice with rants such as "We've won, we've won - we have our muslim in the White House!!".

Is Obama Muslim? I assumed either he was a relaxed Christian or was riding the whole God thing and was more of an agnostic.( you can not be agnostic or Atheist and win a presidential election, after all after that survey it shows Americans would rather have a homosexual or even a murderer as a president then an Atheist. They say anyone who is not religious can not swear to the pledge of allegiance all and so is not an American citizen.

That whole Obama Muslim thing was just Fox News propaganda intended to defame a democratic, potential presidential candidate

I was in a debate with a republican and he thought that China was going to attack the US too. I thought he was just making things up, where does this belief come from?

Barak Obama belongs to the Chicago United Church of Christ, and why should it matter if he was muslim or not? I don't get that. And people that would vote for Barak Obama wouldn't watch the RPN (Fox News)

Islam and Christianity are both abrahamic religions, they are as similar is christianity and judaism. I don;t get why so many people dislike muslims.

Oh yeah, a bit off topic, but can I ask some American political experts a question:

Why didn't Mitt Romney wait till Huckabee drops out of the race before he dropped out, because Huckabee's existence (being another real conservative) was draining votes from Romney (also a real conservative)? Without Huckabee it is percievable that Romney would have faired much better in the remaining primaries or caucuses.
