Thread: stop global warming

we need to open our eyes to the damage we are doing to earth. stop global warming, dont think o he dont do it why shud i, that attitude will get us extinct. help stop it now

Meh. I reckon our grandchildren will deal with it just fine.

we need to eat more cows
stop them farting

and quit with the veggie diets
foliage absorbs CO2
we need them alive

I reckon we can solve this with some sort of giant machine...preferably running on oil...and maybe aerosol cans can come into it somewhere...hmm...

and an enormous 1000 watt lightbulb?

Open our eyes? Why would we do that. That's stupid. The sun would burn them. Duh.

Good idea. Think with a few mirrors and a magnifying glass we could reflect the sun's rays back at it and burn it like an ant?

We can't stop global warming, we can only postpone it. In order to completely stop global warming, we would need to completely change the way we live. We couldn't have ANY automobiles, factories, pollution, etc. It's just not going to happen. The Earth will be doomed to a nuclear war in the decades to come anyway, so I am not very concerned about global warming.

The fact that there is enough nuclear war heads to completey destroy the Earth is terrifying. All the world leaders could be together right now discussing "let's just blow up the whole planet right now". And bam! We're all dead in a matter of seconds. That idea scares me a lot more than global warming.

Life is too short to worry about global warming. We'll all be dead before it has any significance anyway. Besides, the future generations will have really cool technology to distract their minds from global warming.

I don't buy into the argument that humans are solely responsible for global warming. I think that we only play a small part if any and that all these restrictions and carbon offsets are ridiculous. Why is the US gov't banning the production of 100 watt lightbulbs. Now I'll just have to use two 75 watt bulbs instead so I can see what I'm doing. That's real effective. Plus the new bulbs have mercury in them so they're just gonna kill all the fish and beavers.

You're last sentence is exactly what I always say. We're gonna destroy the earth (through bombs) before it destroys us (through global warming). As Einstein said:

"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."

Exactly. Can't we focus on crazy arab people trying to kill us rather than some made up problem. The same people who are claiming global warming now claimed global cooling back in the '70s. All the planets are heating up right now so I wish the gov't would stop trying to control us with unneeded legislation. Where's Ron Paul at, we need him to stop all this bogusness.
