If you sucked at everything you did

and could not be good at anything you ever did nomatter how hard you try, even if you wanna be good at 1 thing. What would you do? give up on ever trying anything ever again knowing there is no point? keep trying?

I would question my definition of "good".

Well, considering this is true for me, it's quite easy. Do it anyway. Do it, but still suck. I mean, it's still fun. You seem to think that the only point of anything ever is to do it well (hence "knowing there is no point"). The point is to have fun.

Oh come on, you can't possibly mean everything.
There has to be something, even if it's blinking you're eyes or breathing or eating fatty, high-carb food on a continual basis.

I honestly can't believe that there is such a thing as a person who is good at nothing.

Well, in fact, I am good at some things. But let's take a genre of things... sports. I suck at all sports. I am clumsy and uncoordinated. I am in great physical shape (work out regularly, tall, pretty strong), just horrible at sports. I always look goofy when doing physical things. Be it complicated movements like skating or skiing or even simple things as running I look awkward. I guess I just never learned to do that stuff properly when I was younger.

Does this include living? Breathing? Eating? Money management? etc?

Because, if that is the case, you would likely be on an inexorable path to imminent death, lol.

      Indeed.
Surely it's about the value we place on certain activities over others. If we were a strictly religious society, we'd value the ability to be celibate (some tiny pockets of our society still do.)

But because we're a pretty showy-offy society, we value things that draw attention to ourselves.

If you hang around people who don't care about sport, then they're not gonna be impressed that you can run twenty timex faster than everyone else.

Oh dear, this is turning all philosophical.

      So you've tried EVERYTHING, then?

I said everything you did, so everything you've done in your life for however old you are. If you're 50 and failed everything then 50n years of failure, or 25, or 18, or 2.

Well pretty sure being a failure at the age of 2 means absolutely nothing. If you're 18 you're too young to have discovered everything at that you could potentially suck at, and the same goes for 25. If you were 50 and you sucked at everything you did... well you got that far didn't you?

Well if you failed at everything you did, you would be good at failing. but since you fail at everything, you would have to fail at failing, which would mean you would have to be good at somthing. Ha! i found a loop hole!

I know a few girls who solved the problem that way, but I'd look like a freak with a boob-job.

I would just become fat, and wear a long wig. Who needs the boob job then?

I'd be proud to be the biggest loser in the world and make billions of dollars that way. And I'd just sit on my ass all the time.

How does that entail not sucking at activities?

If you sucked at everything you did

If you sucked at everything you did then you would suck at sucking, theirfore you wouldn't suck. The point is your comment does not make sense.

      If p=sucking then e=everything

      If p=e then P= not P

See you would suck at sucking.

This thread sucks, however it doesn not suck at sucking.

The planet Earth exhibits all of these properties and therefore can be considered alive and its own single organism by the scientific definition.
      7. Reproduction: The ability to produce new organisms.
does the planet Earth reproduce, well no unless you count the moon.

Or you could stop searching, stick with something, keep practising and practising and practising until you get good at it, don't be fixated with innate skill. Every human has the ability to learn!
