Thread: You+Musical instrument=??

Sounds fun, nice thread idea

I play the electric guitar and i like bluesy stuff, like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix, not as much Jimi though, i'm also a fan of playing Santana styled soloing, i tend to improvise alot of the time, i'll go and record something now actually I'll post it very soon!

I'm a DJ so play the decks - not really an instrument but still, I make music with them for peoples entertainment - I would post a video but I don't think there would be much of a call for the music I play.

My pieces are always quite simple. I really like the more gothic stuff though...I'm trying to learn Vincent's Theme from Corpse Bride. I might also take a video of me playing I Cannot See His Color, from The Village. Though, it was hard to interpret because it's all violins.

Okay fine, but its an improvisation, i made it up as i went along so i was bound to make mistakes, let me upload it and i'll edit this post

What's the best way to post Windows Media Player audio files? I'd post them as Photobucket files but, since mine aren't videos, it won't except the extension names. Will I have to store them as data files on a regular file sharing host? If so I guess that's what I'll have to do.

I play the piano myself, mostly classical. I used to be a big Beethoven fan, now I'm into Chopin pieces (currently learning "Raindrops Prelude"). I might have a few audio files that I made a while ago (I have an electric piano, so you can plug it right into the computer), I'll see if I can find them... I also used to play the electric guitar until I needed to have surgery done on my hand, my take on Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to heaven" was killer .
