Thread: Your first post!

This wasn't my first post, I can't find that and can't even remember what it was. But it was one of the first, my first thread and my only newbie post.

I can't find my first post, as the search engine won't search my name. But here's probably my second post:

One of the beautiful things to see is that all but two of those replying to me in that thread are still here.

I was also pounced on by Ophie and Burns first thing when I got here, (Ophie first,) and still have those PMs saved. That greeting meant a lot to me. Still does.

pj, just look where you are now, i bet you never thought you'd be an admin when you first joined, your mp3 was very cool though, i'm listening to it now, relaxing!

Wow, this brings back old memories... this was on my first account. I gave up after a coupla months and promptly forgot my password. A year later I became Lord Toaster (aka Toast) and started trying again

Thank you! I mean to finish that some day. It started out just as a learning experience with Image Line's Sytrus soft synth, but kind of took on a life of its own. (All the sounds are Sytrus. It's a really amazing synth and it's gotten better since I did that.)

Yeah... look where I am now. Heh.

Three WEEKS ago I never thought I'd be an admin. That was not on the agenda at all... but there are some very persuasive people around here, and this community has become near and dear to my heart.

Some great nostalgia here. I mean, 2007 was AGES ago.

hmm, post count of course has nothing to do with it, but what about the join date? Mavarko is one year older! I say, delete the Toast account, change your Mavarko name to Lord Toaster ( I not sure if that possible ), and then post like crazy until you have as many posts as Toast.
