anyone here know how to take care of a speeding ticket by mail? i dont want to drive 2 hours away to try and find the place...

well, then you'll be able to cash that one too =P

write a check for the ticket and send it via mail... be sure to write it for a couple bucks over the requested amount... the state will then issue a check for the difference (say $2.13) and all you need to do is never cash the check they send you... then on their books it shows that the financial transaction was never completed and they can't issue the points to your license.... at least in az.

how fast were you goin at what speed limit ?

Never send cash in the mail. Write a check or get a money order.

It should say exactly how to do it by mail on the ticket itself (all mine have). I think all the info's on the back. But if it's not, just call the phone number listed on it and ask.
