* I thought I put this topic in "The Lounge" but I guess I posted it in the "General Dream Discussion" Oh well. If a moderator moved it, E-mail me. I don't want to think I'm going nuts. ^_^' *

As far back as I can remember, I have always been a strong daydreamer. I often find myself recreating the world I live in. My imagination is huge, and always coming up with new and interesting ideas. I thought there should be a place to put these daydreams. Perhaps so I don't forget them. Maybe to use for a LD. Or even just for kicks. I've always loved my thoughts and daydreams, but could never share them, as they seemed a little abnormal, or different, but aren't dreams just the same? People here freely share their dreams, so I think if there are any of us here that constantly daydream, you should post it here.

Anything goes here. If you want to post about a daydream of you having the ability to fly, tell us what you thought. If you daydream of meeting someone, tell us. Try and let yourself go, and go into detail. I hope after a while that I get a great compilation of daydreams, and find that I'm not the only one who re-invents the world around themselves. Take a shot! Don’t be embarrassed. Have fun with it. If you ever find yourself daydreaming, pos it here, and share your "world" with the world. ^_^

I guess I’ll start first. I was sitting in class after a rather long calculus lecture, when the teacher taped his marker on the bored. I don't know how it got into my mind, but I imagined a long, deep echo that followed it, like one you'd hear in a cave. Then I got to thinking. What f I had the power to open a door to a new world without anyone knowing it? I'd be sitting there in class, and do some magic, and the wall would shimmer brightly. When the bright light faded, it revealed nothing but the wall. Of course, I'd be the only one who saw the light. Now, behind this wall, was the entrance to a massive cave. Several square miles. It was self-lit. This opening was a mile or so above the floor of the cave. About a mile above was the roof of this cave. This was again was only seen by me. With another magic word, the wall would flash again, and there would fill the room a new sound. Life a gigantic waterfall, but far in the distance. And the whole room would echo, like in a vast cave. By now, everyone would hear this echo, and try to figure out what on earth was going on. I would triumphantly stand up, and tap on the wall, and it would shimmer out of existence, finally revealing the enormous cave behind it. I would then stand at the edge of the entrance, and slowly tip over, falling into that cave, doing a dive into a lake of water, a mile below. Seconds would pass before a faint splash was herd, and the class was fill with excitement and wonder.

A lot of the setting behind the cave comes from one of my favorite books, Myst. It looks a lot like the cave of D'ni. If you haven’t read the trilogy, I really suggest you do so. Well, there's my first daydream. I hope I have given you an idea of what to post, and hope others will start posting as well. As this was intended for daydreams, I will be frequently posting my vast library of thoughts here. Please post! I want this place to be full of great and marvelous things. Ideas and wonders. Even if you don't think your daydream is worthwhile, post it anyways. It'll be fun, I guarantee it. Happy posting! ^_^
