That is most likely why we would not go to war with another nuclear force.
We would pick on North Korea that is implying to do so.

First off, I think it's safe to say that there ain't gonna be any "coalition" in any wars instigated by America for a WHILE. The amount of flak taken by non-us governments for their participation in the War was quite heavy...

Personally, I forsee a war against Iran in the near future... 2 years perhaps. However, I think it will be primarily an airstrike sort of war, with very little or no ground occupation. I don't think that America is going to make the same fuckup they madfe with Iraq and try to occupy the place.

A war with china is just an idiotic proposition. I'm sorry, but it is. Any such war would just be a flat-out war of attrition, with nothing to be gained, and everything to be lost, by both sides.

My guess is China will try to invade Taiwan. They want it extremely bad, and since we support Tawian, we will back them.

China believes it is their destiny to one day control the world, and we are standing in their way.

It is safe to say that if there is a future war with China, there will be a draft and a lot of people are going to die.

Say what you want, but a war with China is inevitable. Be it 20 years of 2000 years, it will happen as soon as China become strong enough

China's ALREADY strong enough. Which is exactly why there won't be a war. I think this is an idiotic suggestion.

IF China goes ahead and invades Taiwan, the US will not intervene. Economic sanctions perhaps, but, the US is simply not going to get involved in an all-out war with China.

Trust me, Canada will not team up with the US and UK. We're already loosing enough in Afganistan, after that, we're not gonna enter another another war until its absolulity nessassry. btw China is already at war and winning. Its not conventional...but an economic war...they probably won't need to even use their military to surpass america.

The next world war will probably be between the US and China. It may not be anytime soon, but eventually. The next war will definately be with Iran, though. Or perhaps North Korea.

Wars of insurgency cannot justify all of the really top dollar Weapons Systems. The American Military Industrial Complex has been agitating for years to militate against China. Only China can be recognized as a serious enough threat to warrant the development of new Fighter Airplanes, New Missile Systems, New Aircraft Carriers, Submarines, Star Wars.

With any Super Power Enemy, American Military Industrialists will slowly go out of business.

They need a Super Power Enemy. China is the only Choice.

Now, it used to be Russia. The Military Industrial Complex played Russia as the Enemy for over 50 years without going into a First Magnitude World War. But that was perhaps lucky.

America can only Bluff and Bluff and Bluff for so long until, perhaps by bludder and accident, it stumbles into a devastating World War.

Will America win? Well, remember American Society is inherently unstable. Everybody owns guns and nobody respects Government. American Society will unravel. China, though, no matter how bad things get, the Chinese have a tradition of respect for Authority, yes, and even for Absolute Government.

America is playing with Chinese Fire and will probably get burnt.

A country having access to nuclear weapons would not make America avoid war with them any more than they would any other country.

1) America will have access to not only more nuclear weapons, but also more efficient ones because of their well funded military.
2) The US wouldn't use nuclear weapons and neither would China. The leaders of both countries are well aware that any nuclear attack would be met by the other country with equal or greater force of nuclear weapons.

You guys cannot fathom any sort of real predications can you? The world is not a good guys vs bad guys diochotomy, at the moment. The fact is with every nation that the US transforms into another fundamentalist guided, oppressive sattelite state, another progressive nation ready for progress emerges. That's the current world divide.

We are just discussing possible situations, doomed one. If you insist on being negative i suggest you go start your own topic and cry all you want. But dont turn my thread into an argument. I've had some bad experiences with that recently.

And yes, i CAN possibly fathom such a prediction if i want to.
