haha what a great idea for a thread, I should have thought of it before

Bread bowls are great for soup, the more rustic the bread the better, because the outside is hard and crusty and in fact doesn't go all soggy, just the soft inside part (which is a GOOD thing). You just have to make sure that when you carve out the bread on the inside that you don't remove too much. Looks really yummy burns. I like to put seafood stews and chowders in mine. And w00t you saved the lid! My favorite part. My boyfriend always eats the part that I carve out heh.

Here's a gingerbread house I made last Christmas (I even made the windows out of melted crushed lifesavers because it looked just like glass, but then the right window cracked a bit because it was humid and the house 'shifted' I guess )
