      Well it can happen. I am sure they tested on animals first.

      Lets not forget that this only happens in 1/1000 cases, so don't go bitchin' at the docters' doors.

      Well yeah, if you give 20 people some 100grams of pure morfine, I think 20/20 people will get it. I ment looked at every different drug alone. Becouse they test on animals this rarely happens. They might have tested it on 100 people, and they might have all died (or allmost), so we are lucky.

      These kinds of things are bound to happen at some point when testing new drugs. The volunteers know ahead of time the possible consequences of taking an untested drug - I'm sure they had to sign their life away to even be involved in the testing. If it tested out alright in animals, it would logically follow that the next step would be to try it on humans.

      Back to the drawing board, I guess.
