Hey there, folks! Meggyfayephotography here! Well, I'm all grown up now, so you can just call me Meg. I'm not much into photography these days. I am, however, a writer.

Who is an OG user? I'm talking like 12+ years ago. Adam, Mes, Cusp, Ninja, Emily, Burns, Moonbeam, Caradon, Bro, TwoShadows, Oneironaught, Amethyst, Man of Steel, Neavo, Ranma, and so many more!

I'd love to hear from the old fam and hear what you've all been up to over the past decade. Hope you're all surviving COVID season!

Hello, old friend. It's great to run into you. I came back here recently to bitch about Facebook, and I decided to stay for a minute. I resurrected Extended Discussion in the process. I miss the peak era of this website. It was a real trip.

I don't think we really knew each other back then either, but that's ok! How are you? Do you still have lucid dreams? How's your dream recall?

I am doing all right. I still love lucid dreaming and have lucid dreams when I try hard enough to. I am still battling my love-hate affair with marijuana, which is horrible for lucid dreaming. When I have been sober for long enough, I can have long lucid dreams really often. I have also gotten better at it since the old days. I can maintain settings and have long conversations with dream characters now. I can also make people and other things of my choosing appear. That used to be difficult. I learned that the trick to making things appear is to visualize them without focusing on the current scenery, not to look at the scenery and hope for it to change. My dream recall has always been good, but it is at its best during periods of sobriety.

I simply have a love-love relationship with marijuana hahahaha. I stopped smoking last week though because I'm getting ready for my third round of IVF. Figured it would be stupid to smoke weed while trying to and being pregnant after my husband and I have been trying for seven years and had two miscarriages last year.

My recall is still really good, with the exception of last night. As I've gotten older, I've had fewer lucid dreams (has been years since I remember feeling lucid in a dream), but a lot more intense, emotional, and realistic dreams. I've even had a few dreams where I actually died. Those dreams, I wake up feeling a cold shock through my body. It's pretty freaky.

I still lurk around from time to time. Still into the practice of dreaming, mostly picking up the odds and ends to some more obscure techniques and perspectives here. I can't help but feel sentimental occasionally.

It's weird being back here, that's for sure.

oh I'm ranma but i'm man of shred since 2009... I still update my dj here once a week, a pure excize in insanity is what it is. And of course Universal Mind, tearing up extended discussion with sharp Ben Shapiro like facts and logic!

Hey! It has been a while. Thank you for the compliment. I am seeing more old faces than I was expecting. I created a reunion thread in this forum in 2017 and bumped it up this morning.
