Just keep moving…
Joined 2011! Took some breaks here and there from truly practicing LDing, but I'm here and going at it! |

I've lurked here and there but it's been quite a while. It's been a really long time since I've had a lucid dream & I'd like to get back into it. |

I've been logging online since 2013, but I was originally on Mortal Mist under the name Relyt. Same profile picture though. I imagine I'm not the only one who changed teams hahaha. |

I joined when I was 14 years old. I still think of the old members from way back in the mid 2000's from time to time, and think about what they're up to. I don't really try to lucid dream anymore, though it spontaneously happens from time to time. I eventually became a language nerd, I learned a lot of Spanish and not nearly as much Japanese as I'd like after so long. Being a kid your world view is more simple and I thought for sure lucid dreaming could give me everything I wanted in life but I learned it's not that simple eventually. |

I wanna be the very best
Like no one ever was
To lucid dream is my real test
To control them is my cause
It's interesting to see the different "generations" reach their peaks on DV. My peak years were 2013-2016, and the cast of active characters were different. It seems most have faded away. I'm coming back to dreaming in a big way this time, and I hope to maintain it throughout all of life's various roller coasters! |

"...develop stability in awareness and your dreams will change in extraordinary ways" -- TYoDaS
It was quite an active period on DV back when I (and FryingMan) joined, and I was also very gung-ho about lucid dreaming at the time. It has never really gone away for me, but I don't dream lucidly as often as during those same years FryingMan peaked. So far this year I have had five lucids, and a (well, probably the) reason for the less frequent lucid dreaming is that it feels less necessary than it used to. Ordinary dreaming works well for me (as long as I remember these dreams, which is not the case every night). I took up remote viewing, which is done while wide awake, and that has taken some focus away from lucid dreaming. Also, most recently, I have taken up "seeing without eyes", which at this point for me means seeing through a completely tight fitting sleep mask (the results so far are quite interesting); this also takes focus away from lucid dreaming. |

So ... is this the real universe, or is it just a preliminary study?
