My brother has this asssignment, and he needs different opinions on the following:

I need answers to the following questions from your point of view. You do not need to consult references or ask anybody. What do these terms mean, from your point of view?

      1. Intelligence.
      2. academic intelligence.
      3. everyday intelligence.
      4. unitelligence.

      much obliged!

Those are really subjective! I guess I'll answer anyway:

1: The general storage or ability to store and retrive knowledge.

2: Intelligence you use only at run-time, or practise to solve a problem efficantly.

      3: Common knowledge or what?

      4: The opposite of 1 .

      1. "Intelligence" is generally used in the context of "common sense and the ability to think logically and coherently," and I guess I sort of agree, without going into why I don't completely agree because it'd take up like four pages.

      2. Academic intelligence is what people call "book smarts," and is what you get in school/from reading/from institutions of higher learning, etc.

      3. Everyday intelligence is what's known as "street smarts" and includes the ability to successfully interact with others, common sense in a social setting, knowledge of acceptable behaviors, and I generally find that it also includes a degree of empathy/the ability to understand how others are feeling, so that one doesn't inadvertently alienate someone.

      4. Unintelligence, like ignorance, is generally blamed on the owner and is a willing thing, though "everday unintelligence" could be common in those who are socially maladept.

Those are just my sillyhead opinions, though. Hope it helped.

Although, I think the debate on Intellectual Property needs to be brought in.

These are short definitions of what it means to me, cause i dont have much time!

      1. Intelligence: general knowing

      2.academic intelligence: school and textbook

3.everyday intelligence:COMMON SENSE, which is the most important of the intelligences, which could involve survival skills in the work place, socially, or the jungle

4.unintelligence: not having common sense, and not being able to preform socially

Personally, I'm not much of a believer in raw intelligence, but more in what you do with the intelligence, as unused "intelligence" is really just stupidity, etc., et cetera (to make it quite brief).

      1. Intelligence - The ability to correctly understand or interpret the issue or problem at hand.

      2. academic intelligence - Knowledge learned from a book, but not applied to the real world, or possible having no use in the real world.

      3. everyday intelligence - Common sense, the kind of knowledge that tells you not to stick your hands into fires. Doesn't require teaching or teachers to gain.

      4. unitelligence - Lack of all higher facilities. Operating on instinct or reflexes. On autopilot.
