There's a ranting and raving thread here so I thought that I would take the time to add some positivity to The Lounge!!

I'll start off with this; I finally have internet again so I can post on DV

I saw a really cute video of a cockatiel singing the totoro theme. X3 Just one of the things that made me happy today.

Favourite hockey team lost tonight...lol

BUT that means they finished the season in last place so they have the best chance of getting first pick in the NHL draft (first overall pick is supposed to be the next phenom). So I ended up happy with the loss anyways

I also had my fourth lucid dream earlier today

I'm a Canucks fan and I'm happy with our last loss. Being in the bottom 3 we have a very good shot at it!

I bought a pint glass earlier and it had a barcode sticker on the bottom. I scrubbed it off with hot water and a rough sponge but the sticky residue wouldn't come off. I vaguely remembered hearing alcohol can help, so I grabbed some isopropyl I had on hand an rubbed it with a paper towel. It worked so well and made me so damn happy for some reason. IDK why, it was kind of a silly reason but I still smile about it xD.

Simple Happiness is so under-rated

- I feel happy about this thread coz seeing the simple things that make us all happy makes me smile and realise " Hey I'm happy right now!"

hahahaaa I can be just happy being alive sometimes

I love this time of year now its getting warmer in England. Some people only like the sunny days, I figure the sun likes a little rest somedays or maybe its out shopping, so I like the rainy days too :p

Oh and I have lots of kids in my class who say random things or hug me

Watched an annoying but stinking adorable video of a little boy crying because he wanted to keep a (live) fish he caught as a toy. His dad kept telling him to throw it back, that it would get stinky. The little boy kept saying: "It will not." I don't know why, but his not saying "won't" just made it that much more adorable.

Once I got to the flea market (why has it still been common to call it this instead of "Swap Meet" or something else more benign? "Stuff Market"... Um, nah...) I looked around, then bought some Amsoil Power Steering Fluid and also Slip Lock Additive. I wasn't expecting anyone to be selling that there, so I thought how nice it would be to get it changed (having no record of when it was last done) and then started changing the differential oil once I got home.

I was walking towards my house when I found that before I arrived, two cars crashed around the corner of the street. Some people like to watch the world burn.

But not me. 2 less cars to contribute to global warming for a short while. And their insurances will probably cover it anyway.
