Empaths

Who here believes in empathic people ( I do ).....just wondering what other people think about it. Who here thinks they may be an empath...and any ideas or questions about empaths can be asked or stated.......... ✨

I grew up believing I had a mystical connection with other people because of my seemingly unnatural ability to "read" them.
Then the show "Lie to Me" came out and explained SO much :lol:
I grew up in a hostile environment. Plus, I was an extremely sensitive, emotional, and nurturing child.
I developed seemingly empathic abilities in order to keep the peace.
Where I fail is with lies. If a person believes their lie, I believe it too (unless physical facts play in). If a person disbelieves a truth, I mis-read it as them lying.

There was a site for crazy people that had detailed 'tutorials and guides' on this topic. That's all I've ever heard about about empaths.
