edit: you've got me whistling the melody and I will probably keep whistling it for a while = ) The Turkish in your accent is strong. About the singing, remember what I said in this thread? "Most players, even the internationally renowned, super star violinists playing of the highest caliber playing with orchestras of the highest caliber, just don't get it. In my opinion.. But when they do get it, I feel really really good" Well, you got it right! The way your voice swells and un-swells, the loudness rises and drops, the pitch rises and falls, it's very nice = D You sing in a way that I will probably only ever dream of doing on my violin. *I hope I'll literally dream of it, but I do figuratively dream of it*
And now for some harsh (unconstructive) criticism... Though you use it well, your voice is mediocre, it only has a fraction of the richness of what I would consider a great voice. With richness I mean the opposite of thin/hollow, I find it difficult to explain. Like the difference between a horrible flute sound vs a beautiful flute sound. It's also on the whiny side.
Having that said, because you nail that thing that makes music magical, that is so damn hard to explain, I love the recording and I'll be listening to this quite often. :goodjob:
