Well, there's the unending quest of, "Where did I put that?" The 'that' isn't always the same, but the quest itself is relentless and only gets more and more difficult as time goes on.

haha, TropicalBreeze. I'm always telling my kids "Only boring people get bored" But, joking aside, I get it. I've always been my most creative and most spiritual when there was nothing else to do. I sometimes miss those days. Nowadays, I'm all about the instant gratification of modern tech. lol, Sefalik. I know THAT quest ALL too well. On the serious side, my spirituality was my biggest quest. I found the answers I desperately searched for and then just stopped The questions drove me and gave me my passion. Once I had them, and my addiction to tech was born, I lost my spiritual zeal. Now I'm questing to get it back. My biggest lighthearted quest has been the search of Saba. Cooked, not sushi. I became addicted to it back in 1999 while in Hawaii. Apparently, it wasn't a big seller in the tourist traps so hubby and I have to search local mom and pops for the stuff whenever we travel (it used to be a yearly trip for his education).

You should let them watch Disney movies. Toy story, Up, Ratatouille, Rise of the Guardians are all great movies full of fun! I have been watching those the past few days and added a lot of playfulness and joy to my days = D But they are probably too busy doing "non childish" stuff.. I wish you all the luck and strength humanly available for having kids at that age! Because I am at that age and giving my parents quite a hard time! I can't wait to see their shocked reactions when I tell them I have just bought a concert ticket for tomorrow and one for friday, especially the part about them costing me 200 euro's and only leaving me with about 30 euro's in my bank/savings account xD

I would say understanding. Wisdom will come in due time with age, and truth can be simplified in a yes or no answer. Understanding, to me at least, is something I have been searching for really. Not just an answer, but why said answer is true or false.

The journey of forever seeking my true self, maybe. Sounds silly, perhaps. I think though, that understanding oneself influences how we navigate life. Spoiler for short story long: Sometimes I feel like aging has caused me to lose sight of myself, and react in ways that I don't even understand (let alone agree with). I feel so often this desire to remove bias, and in cases involving factual outcomes that makes perfect sense. But other times, evidence of bias alone is not enough to change the way I feel about some things, mainly emotional or opinion-based outcomes. The struggle is to remain true to oneself, and yet not stifle the ability to grow and develop. I would say understanding. Wisdom will come in due time with age, and truth can be simplified in a yes or no answer. Understanding, to me at least, is something I have been searching for really. Not just an answer, but why said answer is true or false. I find understanding is more appealing than knowing in a sense, because the former can be forever evolving if necessary, whereas the latter is forever stuck in one place. Knowing is good for things like my own name and phone number, but understanding is good for pretty much anything you encounter in life. By better understanding myself, I feel I am able to relate better to the world around me. Because otherwise it feels like I'm just thrashing about senselessly and expecting sensible results. It has been a lifelong journey for me so far, so for that reason I'd call it (perhaps) the most important one (hesitantly).

perhaps because you are searching for something that only exist in your imagination. That could very well be the thing. But before imagination can be ruled out, it is probably very necessary to take a long good look around in ones imagination before one could really understand what is going on, or where to go or not to go. The journey of forever seeking my true self, maybe. Sounds silly, perhaps. Sounds to me like the most sane and true journey anyone could take part in. So I hope that you never mix that up with being silly, even if you sometimes might need to take the risk of looking like a fool to people that dont understand where you are going. I wish you the best of luck with your journey.

i once thought i was on the search for truth, only to realize it was a lie. so far my most important search has been the search for a new place to live. i kinda felt like that was the only authentic choice i made, and my best one so far.
