Thread: What is something that you just plain love?

Seeing strangers smile when I'm out in public. Idk, it picks up my mood like crazy.

Solitude.

a nice cold bottle of water after a grueling workout. best feeling in the world.

a home cooked meal.

that feeling of aliveness while running or working out.

(i could go on forever but 3 is good enough)

Cool future technology! There is always cool stuff being made as technology gets better and better and I love seeing new things that come out.

Music? Yea, probably music. And dogs. I can't help but smile when looking at a dog.

The sound of a cat's purr. I'm not even a cat person, but that sound is so soothing to me.

Singing at full blast.

I enjoy singing on stage, but singing alone - with no limits gives me a fantastic joyful feeling.

Chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate. I also love it when one of my cats sleep on my lap; nice, warm, fluffy and content.

I like sunsets and riding waves. Watching birds and talking to them. Being in nature and smelling the herbal smells of the bushes and plants. Meditating in the shade of trees. Funny jokes. Walking in the cold dead of night when no one is out and looking at the moon and stars. Relating with a piece of art whatever medium it may be.

I love things that are concise, but I rarely am, so

Good conversation. The kind that meanders, makes time fly, and makes you wish it didn't have to end so soon. The kind that makes my face hurt from smiling so much.

Getting up early, going at my own pace, and the realization that the day is new...and it can be whatever I want it to be. And in the evening, relaxing and enjoying being surprised by how it actually turned out.

Going barefoot...in the grass, the sand, mud, even simple tile. It just feels right.

And I don't know why, but the smell of woodsmoke.
I enjoy LOTS of smells, but this one I can notice on anyone even at a distance.
If it weren't completely inappropriate in most cases, I would wish to bury my face in the clothes drenched in this scent and smell the scent right out of them. So good.

Also, taking a hot shower that makes the bathroom feel like a sauna. And just when the heat starts to become overwhelming, I quickly switch the water to cold and enjoy that for a while.

I find it to be a tactile delight like no other.

Oh, and dark DARK chocolate. When I was a kid I would sneak my mother's baking chocolate, which is 100% cacao, no sugar added at all. She said it would make me sick, but despite it's bitterness I absolutely love it's taste and texture.

The smell that comes from certain car heaters when you first turn them on.
It's probably dust... it's a musty smell, but I have loved it since I was a kid.

A lot of the above makes me happy as well - but I've been just very recently proclaiming somewhere else, and it's true, that almost nothing comes close to the exhilaration of winning in darts against a strong/stronger opponent for me.
Absolutely priceless - makes me walk on air 10 cm above the floor for at least half an hour.
Ah - when that first dart thrown at a double actually goes in directly - it's probably hard to convey - but I have practised hours and hours and hours - because I love it - but when it pays off...goodsigh2.gif

Every time without fail I just plain love to see a dog enjoying it's car ride.

It never gets old, in a way.

My dogs make me smile every day, they're hilarious.
Something I particularly love is seeing them take turns playing, like sharing toys, and letting each other win in rough and tumble games.
And also, I love the feeling I get when I think about how amazing it is to have an animal's complete trust and love (especially because my dogs are both rescues.)

Cycling through the city during evening twilight while slightly drunk. The sky and historical buildings look so amazing, it reminds me of my dreams.

Meditating for more than 20 minutes than going straight to bed
