wuh yo 1st matrix was genius and i no the 2nd and 3rd matrix story lines were kinda shoddy buh did u guys see the cinamatrography in those even in the first one for it's time it was considered revolutionary... i no i seem lyke a freak but i mean seriously i haven't seen a single film that even matches reloaded's level of cinematography.. eye candy aside 1st matrix was madd good n also b4 i was kinda into philosophy the matrix got me more in depth

besides whether u agree wyt it or not it is a scary concept that this thing that thinks on its own can manipulate u to believe an alternate world is the real world and defines ur existence through suffering n since humans r their enemies they get some sort of satisfaction from that

sum1 once said matrix is the athiest point of view on religion they never really mentioned a reason for it but i thought about it n it's true b/c its like this ok most humans have an imprint of a pure like being looking after them when it's really something so cynical that is this thing, this object manipulates ur environment n every single information that ever gets feed into ur brain and manipulates u so much that u'll die to continue being apart of this system while it get satisfaction from watching u live day after day in suffering with no control over ur physical plane n fate is perpetually out of our hands.. until u get free but would u honestly believe sum1 that comes up to u n tells u that this isn't the real world n that this whole thing is an illusion made by machines.. umm mebbe i'm asking the wrong group of people but most ppl would be skeptical

It's easy! Look at the start of the boldface "blah wrote:"'s.. They curve... And then the responses do the same... Don't you see it? It's spectacular.

I am the type that rebels against traditional values, and everything that we are taught. However, there are some boundaries to be followed. For example: Butchering up language. What is the point of that anyway???

I question that which they teach us which needs to be questioned, such as religion, purpose of life, capitalism, consumerism, etc... But language was created for us to succesfully comunicate with others, and by butchering it up it is hard for you to do that. It's not like you are making up words and giving them meanings, because you feel that language limits you from expressing your feelings, you are just taking words that already exist and writing them phonetically, which is quite absurd, and at times hard to discern.

I respect the opinion that you were trying to convey in your post about the matrix, you have a good point. The thing is, that when you decide to type like that it is hard to actually take that opinion seriously, as it seems to be written by a slightly retarded 10 year old. But this is not because of your opinion, but because of the language you use.

All I am trying to say is that you are not rebeling against anyone by doing so, but are actually hurting yourself by impairing your comunication skills.

It is a big deal for many reasons, although it may be faster to type like that it makes it a lot harder to read, and not only that it makes you look like a complete idiot. So why not show the world that you have a basic understanding of one of the worlds hardest languages to speak, and to write.

Actually, many of us here can type fast enough to type with perfect or near-perfect grammatical and puncuational syntax. It's the English language. When you type like that, you don't get taken seriously. Effective communication crucially depends on that the receiver can decode, or understand, what message you are trying to convey. When you type like that, not only do you sometimes create ambiguities, you also distract the reader from concentrating on the focus on the message.

Besides, believe me there is not much do with time but waste it, whether its by studying, working, watching T.V, writing or dreaming. It is all a way to waste(or for you optimists "spend") time. The fact is when we die, few of what we do is going to be worth anything.

My point is, I think it is safe to say you can afford to waste 10 more seconds of you life in order to get a message across in a more pure form. Not because of what it makes you look like, but because if you believe that what you have to say is important/intelligent/mind blowing, you should dress it up accordingly, not necesarily with fancy words, but with at least decent grammar. It just seems like you don't consider your thoughts and opinions important enough to take 10 more seconds translating them into words.

Besides if you dont use those ten seconds in typing the products of your mind, you will probably use them doing something of even lesser transcendence.

I fractures my thumb not to long ago and I still type with "real" words. Although it might b easier 2 type like dis... nope. It takes too long to think about that. Heh thought I would share that with you.

I manage to type in standard English at a nice, fast speed (110WPM, I think). In fact, I type faster than people that use the "u" and "lol" abbrevations.
