Spoiler for thread making: I wrote out this thread, realized it was only a subcategory of the Rant, Rave, Cry & Complain thread so nobody would use it, and deleted it. But I can't stop wondering if maybe it would work, so I want to at least try. If it's something I would use then maybe others would too. I've wanted this thread to exist for a while so thought I'd try. When something frustrating, saddening or otherwise 'bad' happens to you, and you realize it happens often, post it in this thread, particularly if you think others will be able to relate. Just start the post with "I hate (it) when" or something similar. Spoiler for My example: I hate it when people make short, vague responses to complicated issues which they obviously think sound wise, but which aren't backed up by anything. Or if they are backed up, they certainly aren't explaining why. Those people just want to think they're being wise because they're egotistical @$$#*!#$ who have found a cheap way to feel all smug and better than everyone else without actually having to do any thinking.

I hate when I post something, read it over and find something minor I want to change, edit it, and that stupid edit message appears underneath. I swear that happens with more than half the posts I make, even if I read over it before originally posting and am sure that everything's perfect. It irritates me so much sometimes that I'll delete the post and re-post it.

^Agree with you two. I hate when a friend from the US sends me a link, I click on it, and I get a message that says something like "Sorry, but this video is not available in your country." I live like an hour's drive from the US and this is a public video I should be able to view damn it!

I have it when people change their avatar, especially if it's not showing the same person (if it was a person). I rely heavily on the avatar image when getting a feeling of a person, so when they change it I feel wrong whenever I see them post for a while. edit: (Small changes like Halloweenifying is fine)

^this. Worse though for me is when people change their names and their avatars. If you do that, unless you make some special announcement, I'm going to assume you're a new person and that the other person has left forever. Spoiler for continued about this: I have some vague memory of Puffin changing her name but I don't remember what she changed it to, and I have no idea if she's still even on the forum anymore. And where did Raspberry ever go? Is she gone or did she change her name? And PhilosopherStoned, Slayer, Darkmatters.... Name changing just shouldn't be allowed unless a "formerly known as __" message is going to be displayed for at least a few months (and even then I don't know if I'd remember that).

The problem is, there are very few people whose identities I actually recognize. It's like in those TV shows about a few main characters and many extras in the background (like Lost). It takes a long time for your personality to be established in my head. But when you change your name, I can't seem to recognize you solely by your personality, and you might as well have been 'DV reencarnated' and just become a background character to be again. Philosopherstoned is drunkenarse now. Erii is still here. Raspberry not anymore expect maybe a on a great rare occasion. Slayer sometimes. Darkmatters doesn't come on anymore. Puffin asked to be banned I think. She had some sort of dispute with staff. I'm not feeling very hateful right now ._.

I hate when I wake up early in the morning to my alarm clock, and in my rush to roll out of bed to turn it off I get a terrible Charley horse. I also hate people show up angry and treat you like shit because they are angry about something you don't even know about. I hate when I see some of my embarrassing posts that I have made in the past THAT I CAN'T EDIT BECAUSE YOU CANT EDIT YOUR DAMN POSTS AFTER A DAY.
