Thread: Talking to Exceedingly Boring but Exceedingly Attractive Girls...

Withered: What you need and myself as well is to find a place where we can build meaningful relationships. At the same time, we want to build them with people that share a portion of our interests. This seems to be pretty simple. The problem I have encountered is find the right places to go to find these elusive women.
So I guess my solution is to just get out there. Get involved in group activities that involve your interests. There is bound to be some women out there that like the same things you do and the only way to find them is to just be yourself. Even more importantly, be willing to open and share. For the super adept intuitive, it is easy to figure out whether the person is worth your time. The issue is being in the right place at the right time. Join groups, clubs, and go to public gathering places where you know people of substance gather. Most "dull" people dont spend a lot of time in a library.

anyway, thats what im trying to do with my life. Ive had the same kind of past you describe and lots of bs piled in my brain. Its a long friggin journey.

That is pretty much precisely what I mean. There are some people that, when you talk to them, you feel like you are actually communicating with another soul in there somewhere, and then there are others who literally sound like internet chat robots who have all their responses preprogrammed in and never deviate from their coding. When I talk to those people I *quite literally* feel like I am talking to a robot or a non-sentient animal. It seems that even if those robots are sexually attractive I can't stomach their lack of identity or spirit.

That's an excellent point and great advice. I'm an avid reader and writer and my primary interests involve immersive experiences, like any sort of storytelling. Movies, some TV shows (though they tend to piss me off because they're always trying to drag things out), books. I guess just art in a general sense. It really kills me when I'm talking to a cute girl and she says she likes to read, and I ask her what she reads, and her answer is Twilight or anything like that. I have to figure out where the girls who appreciate good literature gather. I'm convinced a huge part of my problem is that I live in Huntington Beach (Orange County), which is like ground zero for shallow bullshit culture.
