To be honest, it's just recently it's started to become really difficult. I did in fact relapse a couple of times, but the first time was as late as day 69 (curoious day to relapse on). None of the times did I masturbate to porn or porn fantasy though, which is the most important part to me.

Not quite, but I may not be far off. There have definitely been ups and downs, and I've been a bit grumpy and drained of energy the last week, whereas the early weeks were simply awesome. I guess six years of porn and excessive masturbating takes some time to heal, but I'm more than willing to patch these wounds and wait for them to heal, lol.

I was doubting; should I have sex or do something else? I decided not to have sex because this would make me excited and would wake me up so instead I was going to fly.

That's a great video and I find it very interesting; however, I think that, like the man himself said, it's all about what you use it for and how much. Just like anything else that feels good, (eating, playing videogames) fapping / porn can be very dangerous if you use it for the wrong reasons. However, if you use these things to supplement your life rather than complement it, I don't see a problem. I will say that with all the internet porn, it is easy to get lost in all the available content, but it all comes down how you use it.

A really good day for me might be one where I was very productive and got some real work done, and at the end of the day I feel like rubbing one out (I use porn only to help my imagination, not because I require it) and do so. Eating a dessert or playing a fun videogame could be replaced with fapping in that situation, depending on what I felt like doing.

I never watch porn. I watch women I like, then visualise a scenario myself. SOO much better.

I think the video is interesting, but he fails to elucidate whether those who stopped watching porn also stopped fapping so frequently. Personally, I don't see how merely not watching porn is 'weakening an addiction' in itself. If you still fap tons, then it's irrelevant. Would've been more informative if he could've found some correlations between no porn & less fapping.

For I don't watch porn, yet I still fap. A lot.

I think all of those effects he's referring to HAVE to imply less fapping. How else could dopamine levels change from simply changing one's method of viewing? If I stop going to the pub after work, it won't make me less of an alcoholic if I still drink everyday at home - It would only be so, if not visiting the pub causes a decrease in my drinking.

He really should drive that point home, or at least bloody mention it.

It's probably because 'fapping' is easier to say and remember than 'masturbating'. Then again, most people are used to not talking about it a lot, so it would be some kind of taboo to some people.
My 2week-challenge ended, so I'm free to do as I wish now. Yet I still haven't xD Perhaps I really am addicted to nofap, and should go detox from it. But if I did that, I would have to detox from fapping again later on, bringing me back to this... So hard xD

Yes. It's taboo in my country. Lot of things are taboo in my country. A 5 seconds homosexual scene can make a film M18. Using of vulgarities constantly, even a simple "fuck" word, means you are brought up badly.

I think everything sexual is sort of taboo in all of the western world currently. Even though I am deeply opposed to it, I'm affected by it as well. I feel uncomfortable when I say "masturbate". I do use it, but it feels uncomfortable. Many people probably use "fap" because it sounds a lot more casual and light, so you avoid some of the awkwardness.
It's pretty easy to see this when looking at movies. You have to put plenty of violence in your movie for it to get a high rating, but almost no sexuality or even just nudity is needed to get the same reaction.

And this bitchy attitude towards all things sex has survived since who knows when, and has caused all manner of unpleasant things like homophobia and what-not.

True, there are tons of taboos, and many of those are actually rubbish. But luckily, in the Western world, sex is getting less and less taboo. But it kind of depends on the community you live in. If you live in the city, there will be very few taboos. In an extremely religious small community, there will be more taboos than we can count. I am really glad not to have been born in one of those communities. I hate to think how millions of people are repressed by taboos, regimes, etc. in this world, and there's no quick way to make people act sensible
