Thread: Post Pictures of Your Everyday Life

My scientifoid playthings-collection is now proudly featuring a crystal-fabrication set - several actually, my husband foreseeing me wanting a biig one!!
It's Kalium-Aluminium-Sulfat, which falls out as crystal, when in heated water-bath and food-colour. It takes a while and needs re-bathing/heating - but once I have grown something nice - I will follow up:



I wonder, if I can influence the shape a bit - or if I split stuff off maybe and use the cut-off for pepping up/diying jewellery..
It won't be deep red like in the picture - rather a slight pink only - like rose-crystal would be nice...
