This is what the toll road was like for a few weeks. Wildflowers everywhere - primroses, purple things, bluebonnets...


Some Last Night On Earth figures I painted a while back and added turf to. This is what they used to look like: http://paizo.com/image/product/catal...P0105_500.jpeg They're not as good as some of the ones people have done, but it was my first shot and I'm pretty happy.


So I decided to do a quick job on my zombies:


Done painting (kind of a rush job, but it's still decent)


After staining. They will be a lot less shiny once they dry, then I will add turf. Hopefully the end result is nice. Nicer than the original, at any rate.

You come across the most wonderful instructions. I'm pretty sure I've never come across anything like those in my life, or most of the others you post for that matter lol.

Thanks! Means a lot, sometimes I do things and then I wonder why I bothered/"Oh no, what have I done?" so it's nice to hear The zombies are dry but I don't feel like pulling ten boxes out of the closet to get to my spray paint box, so... later.

I made a sling for my bow, the paracord part is nice but slightly long for me, and the leather part is... gah. I've never really done much with leather before, but man. It looks a lot better in this picture than IRL. I didn't have a punch the right size so I had to use a drill, which totally stretched and twisted the leather. I've never used stamps before either, next time I need to be more even. And leather stain seems to accentuate screw ups, so.. no screw ups next time?

If anyone has any tips, I'd be happy to hear them. I have no idea what I'm doing.



Oh. If you're wondering how it works, the stabilizer on the bow is put through the center hole in the leather, and the cords of the sling twist through. Like so: http://www.ridgerunnerslings.com/jzc...hitchelite.jpg Maybe next time I could put a grommet or something through the center hole?

That's one zonked card slot if I ever saw one. It looks like me nephew got ahold of it. During a lightning storm.

Naw. She's just posting from inside a lucid dream she's been having for the past decade.

We have these cherry-blossoms in Vancouver that come up during Spring for like 3 weeks, and then the pedals start to fall and the sidewalks are all pink and white; it's really pretty. Too bad it doesn't last long. The pedals all finished falling a couple weeks ago.
