They take me right back to the Florida I remember from long ago, a place I often see in dreams.
But as far as I know no manatees were in those springs. Just fish and what I assumed to be...whatever the plural of caiman is?
These are great. For some reason all I see in the 12th one is a treeman dancing in the middle of the path though.
Which makes me giggle.

We're selling charity balloons at work, and since some people don't want to put their names on them I took a few home to doodle on. I made Marcelline, Finn, and Jake too, but since I did them on the clock the quality wasn't as good.

My scientifoid playthings-collection is now proudly featuring a crystal-fabrication set - several actually, my husband foreseeing me wanting a biig one!!
It's Kalium-Aluminium-Sulfat, which falls out as crystal, when in heated water-bath and food-colour. It takes a while and needs re-bathing/heating - but once I have grown something nice - I will follow up:

Today we adopted Gibson ("Gibby")!! He plays, climbs, and gives kisses on the mouth. He's 9 weeks old and was raised in a foster home where he was bottle fed, and he's already used to other cats and dogs. He's gotta get his nuts snipped then we pick him up tomorrow:

One of my two cats on top of my bookshelf, where she has the best view of my entire bedroom. Empty wine bottles in the corner which she didn't knock over thankfully.
