I had to check the Original photo to see what the tag says. According to the tag, the "Tree Falls" in 1930. So, likely not killed, just cut to show the rings.

And that shape on the tree where people are looking up is a burl. It's a collection of tree cells that usually occur in the ground, and can spawn new trees.

I was occupied last night so I never watched the videos but I will soon. I have to go attend to my daughter's itchy leg.

^ I missed that this year. Granted, we pretty much never get as much snow as you around here, but this year was just pathetic. I think we had two "storm," both of which completely melted within a day or so.

I'm on the radio staff of our community radio station at my high school. I have a 2 hour talk show once a week, and I do productions and other station work (I am the Public Affairs director) every day during school.

Awesome, Dave!

A guy who went to my high school was in to that, became an intern at a local rock radio station, and moved up to being an assistant for the morning show. Now he has his own two-hour show (or is it three hours?) on the top-rated local station for listeners 18-45.

It's a big deal here at Penn State, but I was oblivious! hahaha. Freshman year, I had no idea what it was. I finally learned about it during my second year at university from a few friends who were applying to help out in the dance marathon.

Anyway, I decided I wanted to get involved in a service org, so I applied to help out during my junior year (it was too late to apply for my sophomore year) and this year (my senior year). It was a lot of fun, but a lot of work too. I'm really happy I got to be a part of it. ^.^ Especially since I'll be graduating and moving on from university soon.

Ah, I thought it looked familiar but I guess not. Haven't been to the Bryce Jordan Center! Though I do know a few guys going to Penn Sate. Or, they were going...? They might've graduated by now, not sure.
