Well I used to live in North Dakota and in Minnesota (USA) and yes it has been that cold. I once went for a walk in -100 (F) windchill just to see what it was like . Was a really short walk. Damn!. If it can get that cold there, Canada can certainly get colder.Quote:

If you look at the map in my link above, I lived between Mound and Minnetrista, and just look at all the lakes around! Such good times, but life moves on. :-)
