I regularly listen to other people's problems even though I don't actually care. I just like to be able to give them someone to talk to about stuff.

Sounds like psychiatrist I visited. I actually think its pretty fucked up because I care.

You both reminded me of something. I love helping people when they ask, so long as it's reasonable. And as long as they aren't always asking for stuff.

Yesterday I listened about an hour when a certain person I know from another forum was thinking about where he should move. He's currently in georgia and would like snow and faster internet connections. He just wanted to talk to someone, lol.

I am throwing my 2 cents in....i hate going to therapists, i had been a few times but stopped, they make me feel very uncomfortable....i like talking to normal people so much better.

Meh I kind of had to go because the doctor told me to go because they think I'm crazy. They diagnosed me as depressed and wanted me to take anti depressants. Although I'm not depressed. it was either that or schizophrenia I think because they don't believe in spiritual stuff apparently.

My mother made me go twice. On the first time we just talked, then I went back the next week and I refused to talk, and they somehow decided I was okay to stop going.

I see. But how come it was either Schizophrenia or Depression? The two have nothing in common, aside from both being partially environmental and partially hereditary.
