At the same time, if someone wants to do something just for sake of screwing with people, they'll do the same and recruit like-minded individuals to aid them (like that time they spoiled the ending of a Harry potter novel in a crowded bookstore on the day of it's release xD). With that being said, I don't think you can really classify Anonymous as being one or the other, it's just a bunch of random people coming together for various, unrelated reasons.
As for the Facebook thing, I don't there's ever been a concerted effort behind those... escapades; they're just kids trying to get under people's skin. They may do it anonymously but I wouldn't exactly call it the same thing.
It's like they say, Anonymous is not an organization, it is an idea.
Well, we'll see where this goes. Based on the video, they've at least go the right stuff in mind. I particularly like that they don't really talk specifically about the US - we all need to think a little less about "US, England, China, Russia", etc., and a little more about the world which we all share. I'll be keeping an eye on this, at the very least.
