...is it odd that I still don't have an avatar? I finally came out of "lurker" status, but they don't mean much to me. I mean, I could put up an obvious furry one, but that doesn't seem to "fit" much around here. Not that I think anyone would mind, either... maybe I'm just weird.

That night when you and a couple other people from high school decide to go see an art exhibit being done by your old teacher, that one teacher who was just the greatest, coolest teacher in the world and one of the only teachers you ever actually wanted to keep in touch with, and afterward she invites you all to her house for an after party where you eat a nice meal, socialize, and drink a bit, and then when you leave she invites you out to lunch the next week. Awesome. >w<

I got a extremely expensive journal today, and I fixed my calligraphic pen so I'm gonna start dream journaling and art again .
As always I broke the first cartridge I tried to put in and got ink all over my finger

i found Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance at gamestop... sweeeet! wasn't expecting that.

That's pretty awesome. Kinda like me finding a Dreamcast at the thrift store today. Of course it isn't in full working condition at the moment (or it probably wouldn't have been there) but I think the stuff I ordered off Amazon will fix that. Now I just wait...

I slept for 4 hours from 12pm to 4pm after being awake for the whole night. I woke up with 2 dreams in my head and a really comfy feeling from my bed. I don't even have a splitting headache and I'm not tired too. To wake up everyday like this is bliss.

I just finished a 2000 page novel and there's and empty hole inside me now. Im happy because the ending was just amazing, as I read the last few pages "time to say goodbye" started in my head.

It was epic.

What was it?

A sci-fi book, the commonwealth saga. At first I didn't think I would like sci-fi but it was actually really good.

The feeling we all get when we have to say goodbye to a nice story. But I'm personally more affected by shows.

Oh, then you may like Ender’s Game Series. Tons of books in that.

Ya I was looking at them but I generally dont like books from the 80's. And their is an insane amount of books inthe series, don't know if I'm ready to make a commitment like that

Well one thing is, novels from the 80s aren't dated like movies from the 80s... for one's imagination isn't bound to current technology like in film. Not to mention, with a mind of now.. you'll visualise everything with a modern/contemporary twist. After all, we're not talking stone age here.

Yea I guess, Im just afraid I might not like the series because I like a hint of hard sci-fi.

It's been a while since I've done something productive in lucid dreams. I'm currently testing the effect of time dilation when I'm dreaming.
