I got a job as a game product tester! That's a layman term actually, my title is senior technician. I'll be starting work next Monday and the contract's for a year. :content:

Just received notification from my uni that I got a $1000 dollar scholarship from a recycled application.
Yay not having to do anything but study well and get money for it~!
Also this'll make up for the money I lost during unemployment for a few weeks this summer.
My sister found a stray kitty the other night at a friend's house wandering around. And she is NOT NOT NOT an animal person at all so I'm surprised she took it home and plans on keeping him/her! This morning I went over and it's so adorable and playful c: it follows us around and comes when we make the little sound ahahaha; but it's just a baby and it looks pretty malnourished. The timing is great though because on July 30th she is going to California until August 11th. She asked me to take care of it and I really want to <3 but does anyone know if it'll be okay for such a young cat to be at a different house for 2 weeks? I mean it's not a creepy one who like hides in corners, hisses and doesn't move around...plus I have a dog who is 5 but he's nice (he barks and freaks out when people he doesn't know come by the house) and he's always been good with other animals. I really want to babysit this cat xD
Lots of shelters actually have "foster parents" for their animals, so that they'll live in different homes for a couple weeks or so with people who are willing to look after them until a permanent owner comes along. I'd say it'll be fine. :)Quote:

This happened a few days ago... but, the people that made The Union asked for help funding a sequel (which will be in theaters), and they made it. Actually, they're $10,000 over their goal so far, and they still have 4 days to go.

It finally rains here! I haven't seen rain for like two weeks of hot summer.
Lots of things happened today:

>Went to the University of Chicago reception here in London to meet the headmaster, deans, and other students. I will be going over to the US in 3 weeks time. Pretty exciting stuff.
>I finally passed my f**king driving test.
>Came back to DV after 2 weeks of inactivity. (I swear I say this way too often).

Just released a Deild guide after wondering about it for a while, seems to be good responses so far, So I'm happy for the day. Gonna go freerunning now.

...but, today my favorite steakhouse added bacon-wrapped potato wedges to their appetizer menu. I couldn't be happier! :)
Is it me or is everything in america either wrapped in bacon or covered in sugar..Hmmm. I always hear of wacky combinations like chicken wrapped in bacon stuffed with snake boiled in blood heated in a lamb served on some porkchops, here in ireland we just eat potatoes.Quote:
