Just watched King of the Hill "Propane Boom Pt. 1".

I knew Buckley was off-base and prone to mistakes but now I'm just finding him to be an idiot in that episode and I'm also thinking the whole concept of positions in store management is crap if going by the example in that episode; even if Hank was a trainee, why didn't he go a step up beyond Buckley? Yeah, maybe I'm asking the question that millions have already ask and will continue to ask... But really now, what. the. hell.

101, is that show still on or is it an old ep? I haven't watched it in eons.

Rave: Hubby and I went out to eat with his daughter last night. The food was friggin amazing. Expensive. But amazing. It's a tapas bar. We had mussels in some sauce. Then hubby and I ordered a filet mignon It had goat cheese on top and was served with mashed potatoes and brussle sprouts (which I couldn't eat). I shared a creme brulee with hubby. The most amazing thing is that it didn't upset my stomach in the least (an absolute miracle lol).
Afterward, his daughter told us about a vape store that opened near her gym. We went there and hubby treated me to some juices. Because I was one of their first 300 customers since opening, I got a free bottle as well.

Rant/Rave: My chest pops a lot now-a-days. Since taking anxiety meds, I've not had it as frequently until recently. I finally looked it up again today "Why can I pop my chest". Costochondritis. It's amazing to finally put a name to my problem- especially the more painful bouts which I didn't even realize were the same thing (painful when breathing, feels almost like a charlie horse in your chest). This is an inflamation issue. I'll just start taking ibuprofen when I notice it.
Now... I need to google if stress can cause an increase in inflamation. The popping always makes itself more known when I'm stressed (like driving several hours to meet hubby's daughter; to go out to eat in a new place; to play taxi all the time to the kids. As much as I love to drive, it strangely causes most my anxiety.)
I've had this problem since I was a teen. Mystery solved lol.

KotH ended in 2010. I'm talking of the last episode of Season 2 which was in 1998.

Spoiler for S2 Ep 23 and S3 Ep. 1: Buckley was pulling a propane tank by the valve or close to that, which caused it to leak. This in turn caused the whole building to explode (it wasn't the only propane tank) with him, Luanne and Hank in it. Buckley died, though that's not revealed until S3. Still a bit angry over this but not without reason, (I'm not upset at the TV show itself, just the stupid action the character took) so now at least in retrospect it doesn't look like my Dad was always so unreasonable when he got upset at me over some dumb things I did. It's not the angry bit that's a kick in the face, it's that Buckley wasn't listening to Hank. And considering I was "Buckley" in a number of situations like how I cut my finger with a bread knife, yeah. I've been an idiot.

Rave: I'm moving house again. Was not planning to, but I happened to see some really nice apartments near where my friend stays and I booked one for myself. The place has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen and balcony. The apartment is a bit too large for a single person. I'm planning to use one bedroom as my painting studio. The rent is 11k and it's a good deal compared to my current tiny 1BHK apartment for which i'm paying 9k. Plus the new place has more security and is closer to office. I'll be moving in a month's time.

I ate a few baked organic potatoes. It was nice to eat them.

I am ranting for many reasons today: I woke in pain twice. The first time I woke because my wrist felt broken. Once again, I was supporting my head on my bent wrist and my body woke me furiously. Usually, the pain subsides within moments of stretching and rubbing my hand. Today, the pain was intense for an hour. It was the wrist I broke several years ago and as I rubbed it, I could feel weird movements in the bone/tendons/whatever.
I finally fell back to sleep... and woke in agonizing pain that got worse when I even breathed. It was the familiar spot between my shoulder blades (but lower). Now I feel like I have whiplash and can barely turn my head.
I got into a hot shower, then finally fell back to sleep.

I woke some time after that, thinking there was a leak in my roof because my face was wet. It slowly dawned on me that my blanket was over my mouth and I had drooled to an extreme
I fell back to sleep and woke again when my daughter facetimed me... fell back to sleep then had to get up to take Paula to work.
EGAD! What a start to the day.

Now I'm ranting because I don't know what to make out of my blood tests. TSH, 3rd generation is a thyroid test. According to the paper- 0.34 is a Normal Minimum while 5.60 is a Normal Max. My value is 5.34.
According to the internet (lol) anything above a five should be the normal max.... but according to new standards, anything 3 or above should be the new max.

Another rant, is that my body is sabotaging me. I was supposed to get a physical back in March. My period showed up early. I set a new appointment for this month and now my period is running late The appointment isn't until the 16 so I still have plenty of time to get everything out of the way, but it's still annoying me.

Now I'm going to go Google White Blood count. My count has consistently run on the higher side of normal for several years. This year, it's on the low side of normal and I want to know why lol.

Rave: Kittens are so stinking cute. Mojo had 5 babies and lost all but one. the kitten kept getting away from her (eyes still closed) and she had a bad cold, so I took the kitten away from her and gave it to her sister Squirmy. Squirmy took it without hesitation even though her 2 babies are a couple weeks older. A couple days after that, I showed Mojo her baby and that got her instincts kicking in again (she always had free rein and access but didn't seem to care). Now she and Squirmy co-parent and nurse all three kittens. They even lay beside each other, cuddling and nursing the babies and look like a lesbian couple lol.

Speaking of lesbians, I told Destinee and Paula that I have found the perfect argument against women marrying. They rolled their eyes at me and asked what. "When 2 women are together, who kills the bugs?"
Mind you, I came up with that after listening to them screech about June Bugs for 2 days. They didn't find it very funny
But sheesh... "MOM! Come kill this bug... Mom... come kill this spider..." I asked them what they'll do when they move out and decided they just need a husband (or a house mom )

Speaking of a lesbian couple, isn't that movie "Heavenly Creatures" about a lesbian couple in the 1950s who murder the one's mother...? (I don't know, I didn't watch the whole thing but one kissed the other in at least one part of the movie...) I don't know why on earth my Father watches that. Though I guess the same could be said of me since I like a fan fiction story titled "Background Pony" for the most part, mainly the character's ultimate decision.

AAAAANYWAY. With that being said I'm listening to Midnight Oil... Anyone here know them? Oh and the tractor lawnmower's acting up so that gives me something to work on and learn about. I think the fuel filter's clogged, the mower really hasn't been maintained well. I also need to replace the air filter since it's about 8 years old (same as the fuel filter.)

I've never heard of the movie. I'll have to ask my girls if they know it. (I like zombies and horror flicks, not romance/comedy or most anything else lol)

New rant/old problem.... not so much OLD, but it's been bothering me for at least a week now. I'm breaking out in rashes. I have one splotch on my left arm that's driving me insane... Some of my bumps look like bug bites. THey'll start out as small welts like a mosquito bite, but then it turns into a rash. I've burned a couple of the spots (heat up a metal paper clip and apply to bite) because it's the only thing that offers relief.
There's been no change in laundry soap/shampoo/clothes etc. the ONLY thing that's new is taking care of Mojo's baby. She has the same cold her mom has- gloopy eyes, runny nose. Her eyes seal closed from the gloop so I wipe them clean about 3 times a day. But I don't coddle her. I hold her loosely by her neck, set her on my lap, clean her up, wipe me hands and arms with alcohol wipes and that's it. I have a cat allergy- but it's a mild thing (irritated eyes, runny nose) IF they get in my face. Otherwise, I've always been fine.
Has my allergy morphed into something worse or is this something else.

Maybe it's the alcohol wipes? I've used them for a decade or so. I almost always have one in my hand. I did switch wipe brand a couple months ago- so if that's it, it should have broken me out before hand.
I REALLY don't want to see a doctor for a stupid rash. I keep slathering Hydrocortisone on myself but I can't say it's helping much.

Sounds similar to my mom who's also allergic to cats. I don't know for sure but... Apple Cider Vinegar? Maybe that could help? It is a disinfectant, people use it on skin. I use Bragg's type, but don't know any time I ever used it on skin like that.

Well, a brake line on Dad's van failed. Drove home slowly and down a hill in low gear, with blinkers on. Got it home and some time later after a drive in another car, I started working on the van's brake line. I ended up needing two brake lines because I broke the other which was also rusty. The fittings on the ends were all corroded so much that I couldn't use a wrench to remove them (Penetrating oil didn't work, the metal was too soft) and I was thinking "Oh, god..." while listening to Puffy Little Shoes. (no, I'm not kidding - that's an actual song ) So in short after a little while I used vice grips to get the rusted parts off. No more working on that today though, too late. Lines are off (whee!) and new lines are purchased (yahoo!) so after replacing the two, I need to bleed the brakes. No problem, I've done it before.

Oh and I got a fuel filter for the tractor. Replacing it and using new 100% gas with seafoam in it did help the operation of the mower, but it still stalled out. Might need a carb adjustment, maybe a spring's worn or the spark plug's sooty.

Rave: A week ago, Dad bought a "Tin Cat" (mouse trap that traps mice but lets them live) and we caught two mice today/last night. I drove the mice a couple miles away and let them out. Then, I called home and joked saying something like "The passengers have received the destination in the Mice Taxiing Service."

Hmm..doesn't feel soon to me. Life has changed so much over the last 1.5 years. I think it's about time I had a place where I can have people over, especially guys ;D

I fixed my phone. Sweet.

I signed up for OkCupid. Got some likes, visits, but never a message. Then I googled a bit, and apparently women very seldom initiate the conversations on this site (understandable, since apparently they tend to get a daily serving of unsolicited dick pics).

So I sent out three messages and got two responses, leading to two decent conversations. Once abruptly ended when I asked for her phone number. The other just died naturally (text conversations tend to do that) and I haven't tried to force it forward. But it was still good because it helped me realize that I need to get out of my comfort zone more often.

So I'm declaring now that I will do so. Whether or not this declaration means anything, I don't know, but being as I've basically lost all my friends from my days of high school, I don't really go out and do anything anymore because I don't want to do it 'alone.' Shit on that. To start: tomorrow afternoon, I'm going to the local bar with my book. Lame, but you know what? I like reading and I like bar atmosphere, so that's that. Then next month a band I like is playing a show in a nearby city. I get nervous going to new places--especially crowded cities and being by myself just makes it far worse--but shit on that too. I want to do that.

Comfort zones are... comfortable, but there's nothing to gain by staying there.

Finals week hype

I don't feel like writing in the forums anymore. I write something but it feels like its for no reason. It's hard for some people to understand and suddenly it feels like my experience doesn't matter. Tossed aside because I'm different.I'm a lucid dreamer too but it feels like I'm being told i'm nothing because i'm not someone else on these forums. Some people really aren't worth my time.

Also, I did just delete my comment from a certain person's DC thread. (X3 And I do enjoy my time with dream characters)But apparently it wasn't a discussion because they just looked it over and picked their favorite. I also don't like when I see some people comment on certain threads but no one responds to them. Like really? That person just commented and you ignore them. Please be more considerate. I don't want to end up disliking dream views because of these bubbles that people have formed. If you don't care than its whatever. But hopefully there are still lucid dreamers that I can actually have a discussion with.

This is a good active thread I like this one and the gravity reality check is active too. It would be nice too to have some support on the dream journals too. I feel now I have met you and we can support each other dream journals if you wish? I will post 2 to 3 entries a week. My dreams should be fun as I am changing where I am sleeping.

Its okay if you didn't respond. I don't mind because I got use to it but It makes me happy to know you felt supported.^w^ I've noticed how active this thread is too.Which is great. Never stumbled upon the Gravity Reality thread though. I think it would be a great idea to support each other's dream journal. But you don't have to if you get bored of reading mine. XD

'Tomorrow afternoon' was mother's day. So scratch that; I went to dinner with the family.

But I stopped in the bar today after school. Not sure what the big deal was. I felt awkward for maybe the first 30 seconds after I sat down, but then I just opened my book and drank some beer. Rant: I still have those rashes The one on my arm annoys me the most. Benadryl anti-itch cream helps some.
Rant: I still haven't started my period. What. the. heck? I NEVER miss my monthly. I'm feeling a little crampy though, so perhaps it will show up eventually (yeah, right in time for my Dr. appointment on the 16 lol )

Rave: A local convenience store had a bunch of stuff on super sale for a charity drive. I picked up 5 bags of Bacon Jerky (2.25 oz bags) for $1. each. I also got some candy for .50-$1.00 each.
The jerky is friggin amazing. I normally can't eat jerky because it's too hard. I got a couple bags just to try, opened it in the car, then went right back inside the store to buy a couple more

Rant: we get 450 GB for internet for a month. We went over I'm going to have to listen to hubby grumble about it later tonight. I'm going to have to block a lot more stuff. It doesn't reset until the 16, so it's completely shut off for the kids until then.
